Zaralux apartment is located on the top floor (5th floor) in a nice block with a large parking area, playground and landscaped areas. Zaralux apartment is 55 m2 and consists of entrance area, open space that make up the kitchen, dining room and living room, two bedrooms, one with walk-in closet, one bathroom, a balcony and roof terrace of 60sq.m. The specificity of the apartment is a private roof terrace of 60sq.m which, since the apartment is located on the top floor, extends over the entire apartment. Access to the terrace is with a stairway of the building, which is possible only to users of Zaralux apartment. The terrace is completely covered with teak. The apartment is air-conditioned and can be used in winter because it has gas central heating. Lift is available.

Clean apartment with good location to the old town

The apartment was very clean and as advertised. However the distance to the beach (Borik Camping) is approx. 4km. Taxi is recommended. There were 4 of us and it only cost 40 Kuna.

Kaufland supermarket is only a few minutes walk away.

The only thing that was a bit disturbing was the bin wagon station below (no smell) that was noisy early in the morning.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Zadar.

Zadar and its surrounding has beaches for every taste and some of them are in national parks and parks of nature. There are several city beaches that are 15-30 minutes walking distance from Zaralux apartment. In Zadar surrounding there are several villages with beautiful beaches that are reached by car (own or rented), by bus or even by bike. Also there are many beautiful beaches on neighboring islands. The nearest island is Ugljan to which takes 20 min by ferry from Zadar ferry port.


Car is not essential since all facilities are on walking distance. The nearest airport is Zemunik, Zadar city airport. Following airlines operate to Zadar: Ryan Air, Croatia Airlines, Sky Europe and Lufthansa. It takes less than 30 min by bus from the airport to the city center. Taxi and local bus services are available throughout the city and its surrounding. Ferry port to the islands, and from Pula, Lošinj, Rijeka, Split, Dubrovnik and Ancona is about 400m from Zaralux apartment.


Within the block, there are several cafes, grocery store, pharmacy, bakery, hairdresser, beauty salon etc. Two large supermarkets and emergency are on 200m distance. City pools, sports hall and outdoor sports fields are 400m away. Marina is about 400 metres away. Historical city of Zadar is only a few minutes walk down the alley.

Thanks to its favourable position, almost on the middle coast of the Adriatic Sea, Zadar is an ideal starting point for exploring. It is located in the most indented part of the Adriatic coast, and in its vicinity there are even three national parks, two nature parks and many historical sites. Zadar is called "the museum city" because it preserves many historical buildings and monuments, some of which dates back to centuries before Christ. There are also many cultural and entertainment attractions and cafes, restaurants, fashion and other stores. Zaralux apartment is away from the historical city of Zadar only a few minutes walk down the alley.

In the vicinity of Zadar there are three national parks, two nature parks, several historic cities, and numerous islands that offer endless possibilities for exploration.

Among the national parks there are Kornati, the largest archipelago in the Mediterranean with 150 islands, islets and rocks, Krka and Paklenica, while farther north, in the continental region of Lika, there is Plitvice Lakes National Park (UNESCO destination).

Among the natural parks there is Telašcica Bay on Dugi otok, and Vrana Lake in the background.

For booking the Zaralux apartment it is required to pay an advance of 30% - the guests will be informed about the exact amount upon their request for booking - the balance, together with sojourn taxes, must be paid no later than 21 days before arrival.
In the case of "last minute" reservation, it is necessary to pay the full amount when booking.

Changeover Day:
Preferable changeover day in high season is Saturday. In low season we are flexible about changeover day.
Arrival is between 16 - 20 h. Flexible if possible.
Departure is no later than 11 am.

Notes on prices:
Price includes: Daily rental for maximum 4 persons, linens, towels, water & electricity.
Price does not include: sojourn tax - which is about €1 day/person.
Security deposit of €250 shall be deposited with housekeeper.

Payments are made by bank transaction. We do not accept credit cards. Advance payment of 30% of rental price should be paid for booking and due balance not later than 21 days before arrival. If there is less than 21 days left before holiday, full price should be paid at once. Security deposit of € 250 should be left at a housekeeper on arrival and will be returned if no damage is committed.

Garden furniture including dining table and chairs, sun beds with cushions and a stool. From the terrace stretches breathtaking view of the city, old town, the surrounding islands, sea and sunset. During a swim in the pool and sunbathing guests can enjoy the view, as well as in music, since there are stereo system with built-in speakers. There is also an electric grill. Utility Room: Broom, sweeper, mops, vacuum cleaner, iron, washing machine, drying rack. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linens are included.
