Cottage in Holmfirth, Yorkshire, England, UK - In the Heart of Bustling Town With Lots to Do

Framed behind the cooker is an animated picture of one of the most famous views of Holmfirth. This window looks directly over Victoria Square towards the church. With this well equipped kitchen and its special 'Summer Wine' views you might be tempted to spend a long time cooking! But you don't have to as there are plenty of very good places to eat in and around Holmfirth and the Holme Valley. The excellent self catering accommodation also includes a superb fitted kitchen and a lounge/dining room which is very light and spacious. There are two very comfortable bedrooms on the first floor, one double and one twin along with the main bathroom. As well as occupying yourself in the beautiful Pennine town of Holmfirth whether you are here because of Last of the Summer Wine or just for the natural beauty of the countryside there are plenty of things to do within easy reach on either side of the Pennines.

Oh so cosy cottage

Not so small but definitely beautifully formed. Well equipped, very centrally located, and in a town with so many hills, only a short hill to get to the cottage. No parking at cottage but plenty of space a bit further up the hill.

Distances:

Right in the centre of Holmfirth, with dozens of excellent restaurants and pubs within less than a minute walk. Huddersfield is approximately 6 miles away or 15 minutes by car and ideally situated to travel into many large cities with Manchester, Leeds, York and many others being within an hours drive!

For bookings made more than four weeks in advance 20% deposit required at time of booking.

For bookings made less than four weeks in advance full payment is required upon booking.

Unfortunately we can not take cards at this time, but we accept cheques or bank transfers for deposits and cash (or cheque or bank transfers) upon arrival if this applies to you.

Changeover Day:
Flexible change over day. Arrival time after 3pm (although it may be possible to arrive earlier depending on availability). Departure time is 11am.

Notes on prices:
During peak periods (where there is a min. stay of 7 days) we may be able to accommodate shorter breaks if there is availability.We are currently working on prices for 2014 and shorter breaks, please contact Anne on 01484 689680 or emailing info@homefromholme.co.uk and we will be delighted to negotiate a price.
