Complex Is In A Peaceful Location But Only A Few Minutes Walk From The Beach And Main Centre

Limnaria Gardens is fabulous complex with great facilities, right in the centre of the main resort area of Paphos. In a great central location, the apartment is just a few minutes walk to the beach, bars, cafés and restaurants which, in turn, lead to the beautiful harbour and Paphos Castle. The complex has a three pools: a large freeform swimming pool with Jacuzzi, a children's pool for the kiddies with a great Jacuzzi and a new smaller pool (heated at the managements discretion). Living up to its name, Limnaria Gardens also has plenty of areas for sunbathing amidst wonderful planted gardens, trees and grassed areas. As it is a only few minutes walk off the main coast road, the complex itself is an oasis away from the excitement Paphos has to offer with its bars and restaurants. Our property is a ground floor apartment with good access and parking, great pool views (opposite the Jacuzzi!) and a large patio and garden with its own loungers and patio furniture for lazy days.

Notes on accommodation: Smoking on the patio only, please. High season is usually classed as Easter Mid July and August. The rest is low season including half term holidays and Christmas. Look out for last minute bargains There are no gas appliances in the apartment. Outside: The patio is large and South facing - it has the sun from around 11.30am until sunset. There are private sun loungers and large patio table with parasol which seats six and ideal for outside dining and drinks. The patio area has a small gravelled garden with a stone feature with Greek urns and planting. The garden leads right onto the new pool and huge main freeform swimmimg pool (one of the largest in Paphos) with a jacuzzi. The apartment is ideal for those with children who like to swim as the pools are visible from the privacy of the patio and garden area. The pool is edged with palm trees and is landscaped. The Jacuzzi and heated pool operate at the complex management's discretion. The complex often has a visit from the ice-cream van during the afternoon! Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen is included (not beach towels). Linen is changed weekly. Additional changes can be arranged. Other: The apartment has air-conditioning in the bedroom and open plan kitchen/dining/living area. The apartment also has a safe for the use of guests(uninsured).

Lovely holiday

The apartment is on the ground floor with a large patio area. Limnaria gardens is beautiful and this was our 8th year there but first time in this apartment.The apartment is basic but comfy and very reasonably priced for a ground floor. Only complaint was no spare towels or sheets which would have been nice as we stayed for 12 days. There is a washing machine so we were able to wash these.

Great Apartment

This is an amazing apartment, clean and bright and full of everything you might need. A lovely kitchen where you can cook full meals if so inclined, oven, washing machine, full fridge. ground floor , right in front of the pool, no stairs to climb. The owners are absolutely lovely, friendly and honest.

I had trepidations the first time, as you never know, but have now stayed 3 times in this flat and highly recommend it. Very central, literally 5 minutes from the beach and close to the centre of the action via the paved beach walk within 15 mins. A great apartment with great and honest owners.

For those that know Paphos it is very near the Alexander Palace Hotel. The complex is only a five minute stroll to the beach beside the Hotel.

From this point there is a wonderful walk past all of the restaurants, bars and cafes which hug the sea front and the small beaches which take you into the newly pedestrianised area which leads to the harbour with their boat trips, fabulous restaurants and, of course, Paphos Castle. This area often hosts many special events from opera to beer festivals!


The complex is a 25 minute drive from Paphos Airport. You can collect a hire car from the airport but you do not need a car to enjoy all that Paphos has to offer. It is advisable to arrange your rental before you leave as they can be expensive at the airport. Some rental companies are off site.

There is a good local bus service (612) which takes you from the airport to the Alexandra Hotel which is 5 minute walk from the complex: alternatively you can easily pick up a taxi from the airport.


The coast is about a five minute walk from the complex and, from here, the harbour is about a 30 minute stroll along the coastal road, lined with shops, bars and restaurants. Local bus services run to the beach resorts of Geroskipou and Coral Bay, both worth a visit, whilst bus tours further afield can be arranged at Paphos Bus Station near the harbour, where you can also take a boat trip or even hire a motor boat.

Many of the spectacular archaeological sites can be reached by foot.

Paphos has all you can ask for. From its ancient beginnings which you can visit at the archaeological site at the harbour, Paphos has developed into a resort that has something for almost everyone. The people are friendly, the weather is sunny almost all year round and, given its British connections, English is spoken by most people and they drive on the left. Even the road signs are in both languages!

Eating out can be different every evening with everything from mezes to moussaka, fresh fish to French fries and fast food to five star cuisine. Some restaurants and bars have entertainment whilst others are there simply to let you soak up the atmosphere as the world passes by. Many restaurants offer set price menus where you can have a good three course meal for around €10 or €12.50 with house wine. Viva Cyprus is a restaurant popular with both locals and tourists and is just 10 minutes walk from the complex - the dessert trolley is always popular - complete with bell! There are a number of other restaurants who offer similar deals, along with a great selection of Chinese, Persian, Italian, Indian and Japanese restaurants.

There are some convenience stores in the nearby Limnaria Shopping Centre but it is worth a visit to Papantoniou's, the nearest large supermarket, just up from the seafront opposite Debenhams, which is a good place to stock up on groceries. The new Kings Avenue Mall offers a great shopping experience with shops like M&S, Zara, Carrefour, Jumbos and coffee shops such as Costa.

For those seeking nightclubs, head down to 'Bar Street' where you will find all of the nightclubs vying for business, such as Flair, Amnesia and Linekar's along with Karaoke clubs and pubs such as the Robin Hood. For those seeking English entertainment, Friends Bar offer tribute acts most nights including the likes of Elvis, Michael Buble etc.

Paphos also has a number of attractions including the Paphos Water Park, Karting Track, Paphos Zoo and Bird Park.
