Tastefully modernised, furnished and equipped to the highest residential standards to provide 4 star en-suite holiday accommodation for up to 8 people. Generous communal areas with grand fireplaces equipped with wood burning stoves. Cosy bedrooms with large comfortable beds. Luxury linen and towels. Large, well tended grounds.

We were lucky enough to visit Laugharne and stay at Brynafon by chance a few years ago, and like Dylan Thomas and many others, were hooked by the charm of the town and the beauty of the house so much that we bought it!

After careful and sympathetic redecoration and modernisation we are privileged to be able to share our gorgeous home with visitors passing through Laugharne.

On driving down the hill into Laugharne, the mobile phone signal drops, the sea hoves into sight beyond Laugharne burrows and relax! You pass historic 'Brown's' hotel, once the famous drinking den of Dylan Thomas and now being restored to top boutique hotel quality, turn off the main street towards Dylans old boathouse and writing shed, and come upon our Brynafon.

Just had to let you know how much we and all the family enjoyed ourselves at your house. The house was so welcoming and spacious we never felt over squashed and we particularly enjoyed eating at the table in dining room. We had a splendid time visiting the places we had holidayed at as children, and the weather was very kind to us. Have made some new "friends" in the Mariners and will most probably returning next year. We really envy you your Welsh Getaway.

The gardens are mixed between planted borders and an area suitable for modest ball games. We have a small herb garden outside the kitchen. Utility Room: Separate utility with washing machine, tumble drier and ironing board. Direct access to Garden so ideal for drying off wet pooches! Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Luxury linen and towels are included. Service cleaning complimentary for families staying for more than 1 week.

This house was very comfortable for our family weekend away. Plenty of room for us all and 2 dogs. The house was comfortable warm and cosy on a wet weekend with lots of space for drying wet coats and dogs.

Fantastic

An absolutely amazing house, everything we needed was there. Did not want to leave, and think we will return. Car not needed as right in town, so all is within walking distance. Fab pubs and restaurants, and very friendly people.

A very comfortable house in a stunning location

The house was comfortable, well equipped and quiet. It was cleaned and the beds changed mid stay. We did have a problem with one of the showers which was repaired promptly. Laugharne is a pleasant little town with a number of restaurants and pubs plus a very good gift shop. There are walks along the coast and around the castle within easy reach of the house. It is well situated for exploring the Camarthenshire and Pembrokeshire coasts. The people were very friendly and helpful and somewhere I would go back again.

Lovely Home in a lovely friendly village.

Beautiful bakery on the doorstep. Three generations from 66 to 4 years old had a Brilliant holiday. Had some great meals out with help from recommendations in info, and added our own The Red dragon as we came back from Saundersfoot was excellent. Definitely plan a return visit. Great base for countryside and amazing beaches.
