Apartment in San Pedro Del Pinatar, Costa Calida, Spain - Excellent Location Very Close To Local Beaches, Restaurants and San Pedro Del Pinatar Town

2 Bedroom Apartment with a private roof top sun terrace and south facing front balcony, so ideal in Winter months. WIFI is available. There is ample room for parking and is within easy walking or driving distance for a number of local beaches. The famous Mar Menor (or little sea) is about 25 minutes walk away (3 minutes by car). This is a fantastic place for water sports, swimming and good beaches, there are no tides so very very safe for swimming and is much warmer than the sea. Also there are lovely sandy beaches in Lo Pagan. The area is very flat so it's perfect for cycling or walking. Very close to the San Pedro Las Salinas national park, an unspoilt nature reserve which is a favourite with bird watchers! The local town is about 15 mins walk and the motorway is about 1.5 miles away. The local airport (San Javier) is only 15 mins drive and is very easy to find to/from apartment. There is a regular bus service to neighbouring towns for non-drivers, and the bus station is only 10 minutes walk away.

About Annita Whittle

I have had my apartment in San Pedro for a number of years and bought it from new. I love San Pedro and spend as much time there as I can. I love being near a Spanish town and yet so near to the sea and every amenity you could need is within half an hour. I live in Yorkshire which is beautiful so I have the best of both worlds!

Why Annita Whittle chose San Pedro del Pinatar

Because it's South facing, great views of the sea from roof top terrace and near a lovely Spanish town which gives you a great Spanish feel without being remote. WIFI is also available. The area is very flat so fab for walking or riding a bike in very safe bike lanes plus wonderful food, what more could you ask for when living in Spain!

What makes this apartment unique

My property has all mod cons, WIFI a very well equipped kitchen as I used to have a Restaurant nearby. Air con which is a must in the summer, English TV, and well equipped private solarium ( private roof area ) with lovely views of the sea, new loungers and chairs, Great for alfresco dining the solarium can be lit up at night.The swimming pool is looked after to a high standard and has plants, loungers and gazebo's.

Notes on accommodation: All rooms have ceiling fans and full air-conditioning in the living room and main bedroom. Roof terrace has chairs, tables and sun beds available for guest's use. This is strictly no smoking apartment inside and unfortunately pets cannot be accommodated. Outside: There is a private roof top sun terrace and a front terrace balcony. All have adequate seating and tables and the roof terrace has additional sun beds, lighting and BBQ, you can also hang out any washing or swimmings togs here.There is a shared residents only swimming pool which has pleasant surroundings, with plants and gazebo's and showers. Utility Room: Utility room with automatic washing machine and hot water boiler Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included, but please bring own beach towels. The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival by our agent. There is a separate fee of 50 Euros for cleaning prior to your departure to be paid directly to our agent. My wife and I stayed in this apartment for the month of November. It was very comfortable, had a good well equipped kitchen and everything else we required. The location is perfect just minutes walking to the sea and the town centre. It is located in a lovely quiet area which feels so safe. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. We hope to return to it next year

Lovely clean apartment in quiet area

First time staying at Annita's apartment, found it to be a lovely and clean with everything you need for your stay, close to the mud baths and the great beaches at El Mojon and Pilar da la Horadada.

Enjoyed the sun terrace and communal pool on a couple of days but if you have a car or rent a bike it's very central to explore the surrounding areas which we enjoyed doing.

Nice relaxing visit

We stayed in Annita's place for a week in June, it's in a good location which you can walk into the main town as we did most days. A hire car is beneficial for visits a bit further out.

The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Fantastic relaxing easy going holiday. Apartment comfortable and cool

The apartment was in easy reach of the salt lakes and views of the flamingos. We hired bikes which took us easily from the apartment to beaches, boardwalks, bars and restaurants. The apartment was clean and bright and when (at home) we spent most of our time on the balcony, but did sun ourselves on the roof terrace. We used the pool several times during our 2 weeks,but found the sea lovely and warm and swan every day. We had a mud bath, cleaned off in the VERY warm salt lake and then swam on the other side of the boardwalk.

We had a great holiday and would love to return to this very charming and relaxed area. The apartment was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The fan and the air con kept the bedroom cool. We had a few small issues, but nothing that Pete and Sue could not sort out for us and were always on hand when needed.

We could keep on typing, but would recommend you come and stay and experience for yourself the pleasure of staying in San Pedro del Pinatar.

Home from home

Quiet location. Apartment has everything you need down to beach mats. The only thing missing was bbq. Roof terrace real sun trap the front balcony more shaded for cooling of time. WiFi excellent. We spent all our time either on roof or front balcony. There is only one bar one restaurant and one small shop in immediate area. Car hire needed. Overall excellent apartment

I did have a BBQ, but I'm afraid it wasn't looked after and cleaned so I feel it's best if guests use a disposable one, which you can purchase just across the road at the little shop.This can then be placed on the stand under the pagoda on the roof terrace. There are 4 supermarkets within easy walking distance and lovely Restaurants in San Pedro, again within walking distance. The bus station is also only a 10 min.walk away with regular services to many places. Many thanks Annita

Special interest holidays:

The area is especially suited to those who enjoy walking, cycling, bird watching or just relaxing by the pool or sea. Very close by is the 4 star Thalasia hotel which offers an abundance of Spa treatments at a reasonable cost.


The beach is approx. 20 minutes on foot, 5 in a car. Fabulous for walking and biking as it is very flat and has excellent cycle lanes. Great bird life on the salt flats including Flamingos. The Port is about 20 mins walk and provides a lovely harbour with yachts and nice bars and restaurants etc. In fact there is everything you could ever need within half an hour by car.


The nearest airport is San Javier which is approx 6 miles away and can be easily reached via motorway or main road and takes about 15 minutes from apartment to airport. Car hire, whilst not essential can be useful to see the wider area including neighbouring towns and cities.


The old Roman city of Cartagena is to the west of San Pedro and can be reached by bus or car (by car 45 mins). This is well worth a visit and a good day out. To the east is the thriving town of Torrevieja, once itself a small fishing village and now a popular tourist destination. Further northeast approx 1 hour 40 by car is the popular town of Benidorm which has a lovely aqua-park and theme park, I would suggest to visit the old town in the winter months. Alicanti 1hr away is well worth a visit

Further Details:

There are many local supermarkets, banks and restaurants in San Pedro that can be reached on foot or in the car. Also a good Market on a Monday. Great fiestas on appropriate days, San Pedro is a very nice Spanish town. So you have a good cross section of all you would need here and in the surrounding areas.
