Good place to stay

Spacious apartment with 3 good sized bedrooms, nice bathrooms and a decent sized comfy lounge.

The kitchen was clean and had everything needed to cook a meal, including a dishwasher and washing machine

Air-conditioning was a bonus as was the TV which had a raft of movies to watch.

The balcony isn't huge but great place to sit and you can see the sea.

Beach is literally across the road

Well worth the trip. A little gem of a place.

We booked as a last minute trip to Spain as we decided to cancel our August trip camping in France. Whilst we have visited Spain before, this was a little gem. The apartment was exactly as described. It is in a complex of apartments with a really nice swimming pool that is respected by others and the gardens are immaculate. The apartment is above a restaurant and a bar, but I can honestly say that we didn't hear a thing. Even when sitting out on the balcony during the day/evening we were not disturbed by the surroundings. The apartment is very well equipped and was clean and tidy. The views across the sea are really really nice. The location is perfect. A very short stroll to the beach and then in the other direction the pool. Our kids loved both. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We particularly liked the stroll to Garrucha in the evening where we mostly ate or along the beach front. There is a tourist train that runs around the area every evening so for those less mobile it is ideal. The water park regardless of some of the reviews on-line was actually very pleasant and we went for the late afternoon option which is cheaper and cooler. it was a perfect duration. All in all we loved Vera Playa. Another favourite was the beach area in Garrucha up past the port. We really liked this part of the beach and the sea was really clear as we did a little bit of snorkelling and hired a pedalo. Vera market was another favourite of ours and also a trip to Cartagena which is full of history and the catamaran trip was good. Of course as you can guess I cannot recommend the area and the apartment enough. It wasn't full of high rise buildings and the people were very very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this apartment again.

Great location, well equipped lovely appartment

We had a brilliant holiday, myself and my three teenage children were really impressed with the location, the beautiful well equipped apartment and the overall feel of both the area and the apartment itself. Sharon is fantastic really helpful and nothing is too much for her. I can recommend this lovely 3 bed-roomed apartment and will definitely be returning. Five stars

Great apartment

The apartment is spacious, well furnished and equipped and extremely comfortable. The location is ideal, close to the beach, a wide range of bars and restaurants - though still very quiet - and a lovely walk along the promenade to Garrucha, Views from the balcony are good - and the shared gardens and pool are a bonus. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

A Little Gem

We had the pleasure of staying at Las Marinas for a week at the end of September & would highly recommend it to anyone who is planning to stay in the Vera/Garrucha area.

The apartment is in a great, beachfront location and is furnished to a very high standard with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property consists of a kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms (one en-suite) and a further bathroom. All rooms are large - there were 4 of us staying at the apartment and we never felt on top of each other. The living room and 3 bedrooms all had individually controlled air conditioning and the bedrooms all had plenty of wardrobe space.

The apartment is situated over a restaurant but we never heard any noise and the Millionaire's Bar downstairs was great! The communal pool was a bonus which we enjoyed very much. The walk along the prom to Garrucha was very pleasant indeed and a visit to Mojacar (easily accessible by bus if you dont want to drive) is recommended.

Communications with the owners was good and Sharon, who met us at the apartment on our arrival and then again when we were leaving, was very helpful.

I couldn't find fault with any aspect of our stay at Las Marinas and would definitely give it 10 out of 10.

What a great retreat- spacious interior with cool marble flirting throughout beautifully furnished love your taste !

What a perfect gem to travel out if needed to explore but this apartment has the beach on the doorstep with a huge pool in the gardens close by so why do you need to drive!? We certainly didn't, only experienced nothing but pure relaxation & peace on the balcony

Didn't want to leave but we will return.............

Special interest holidays:

The wonderful Sierra Cabrera mountain range - with its wild boar and wide variety of birds - is a relaxing holiday area for walkers. The nearby Cabo de Gata Natural Park has extensive cliff-top walks and secluded coves and beaches. Its famous salt beds are a haven for birds.


Beaches (nearly 10 miles in total length) are just 2 mins to the closest by foot away. Many are Blue Flag standard.


These are the airports within the area and the approx travel time to the apartment. Almeria 50 mins. Murcia 90 mins. Alicante 120 mins. Malaga 200 mins. Granada 180 mins.


Mojacar village 5 miles. Garrucha 0.5 mile. Almeria city 40 miles. Murcia city 60 miles. Alicante 80 miles. Granada 80 miles.
