2 bedroom air-conditioned cliff top apartments, each sleeping 4 persons, with exceptional infinity sea views where all you can hear is the sound of the sea!

The apartments are located between Esentepe and Tatlisu in a semi-rural setting, about 30 minutes drive east of Kyrenia (Girne) and surrounded by mountain views to the south whilst overlooking the stunning Mediterranean to the north. The two 2 bedroom air-conditioned front line apartments each sleep 4 persons (5 at a push) and overlook the Mediterranean and are as close to the sea as you can get. The continuous patio doors provide exceptional ‘infinity’ sea views from the apartments resembling views from an ocean liner! The fully equipped kitchens include a washing machine, lounge/dining areas with TV plus DVD. A very small but secluded ‘micro beach’ is located a 1 minute walk away down a flight of steps and a larger beach is located 10 minutes walk away. The apartments are located on the Old Coast Road and are just 3 minutes walk to 3 restaurants. Taxis from the airports (Ercan, Larnaca and Paphos) and car rental can be arranged with a local firm if required. The property is professionally managed by locally based expatriate property managers. A local rate internet dongle/key is available on request although good wifi is available at the Seabreeze restaurant nearby

Late summer holiday

Bright, clean airy apartment overlooking the Mediterraean - only the sound of the sea at night! Lots of hill walks, archaeological sites, medieval castles and beaches to visit all within easy reach. Many restaurants in the nearby port of Kyrenia. A pleasant greeter with lots of local tips - all in all a very successful holiday - would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Lovely apartment, stunning location.

We have just returned from our third visit to Northern Cyprus staying in this lovely apartment situated in the peaceful surroundings of Kucukerenkoy village. The apartment sits literally on the cliff side road and from the balcony the sea views are stunning making eating alfresco a simple joy.

It has all the essentials and comforts you could ever require, including air conditioning and insect screens in all windows. Room size is adequate for four people, hot water is plentiful and the shower actually works well!

Supermarkets are a short drive away and parking adjacent to the apartment is available. Denise the local agent is friendly and always extremely helpful and has plenty of local knowledge.

If you are looking to get away from it all in a stunning unspoilt location to enjoy simple pleasures, reading, walking, swimming/snorkelling, visiting the many historic sites and the renowned Alagadi Turtle project look no further, you’ve found it!

Location, location, location! Peaceful location where literally all you can hear is the sound of the sea, wonderful views, unspoilt area and good local restaurant (Seabreeze). And its not on some huge complex although the down side is that there is no swimming pool. As the location was so good I originally bought off plan from a very good local developer and very pleased with the result.

For students of geology the sedimentary geology of North Cyprus is very well exposed on the coast and an excellent place to do field work! Also great for students of archaeology as there are some undocumented sites about the area.


The coastline of North Cyprus is picturesque but generally quite rugged with many small deserted and secluded beaches. There is a small secluded and semi-private rocky and sandy 'micro beach' 100 metres from the apartments at the base of the cliffs towards the Eagle's Nest restaurant and accessed by a concrete stairway. It is also possible, though not recommended, to scramble down the cliffs directly in front of the apartment to get to the sea. A much bigger sandy beach is available about 10 to 15 minutes walk away to the west of the apartments. With the crystal clear water the area is ideal for snorkelling and for fishing.


North Cyprus Ercan (also called Leftkosa/ Nicosia) International Airport is about 40 mins drive away. Alternatively, you can visit North Cyprus via a flight to South Cyprus Larnaca International airport about 90 to 120 mins drive away. Some car hire companies will allow cars from South Cyprus to cross the border but the appropriate insurance must be purchased at the border crossing. Car hire in North Cyprus is recommended. See further details below.

10 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket.

10-15 minutes walk to the nearest sandy beach.

20 minutes drive to the Korineum Championship 18-hole Golf Course.20 minutes drive to major supermarkets and shops.

35 minutes drive to the main tourist town Kyrenia (Girne) and harbour.

45 minutes drive to the capital - Nicosia.

90 minutes drive to Karpaz Peninsula

Local interest: Kyrenia or Girne is the main town in the area with shops, banks and restaurants and an attractive harbour area. The quaint village of Tatlisu located about 15 mins drive away, en-route to the Karpaz Peninsula, provides local shops, bars and restaurants. The village of Esentepe located about 10 mins drive away provides a Doctor's surgery, police station, primary and secondary schools as well as grocers, bars and restaurants.

The area is steeped in history, especially crusader castles, at the waterfront in Kyrenia, Buffavento near Esentepe, Kantara castle near Kaplica and St Hilarion near Kyrenia. There are also roman ruins and amphitheatre at Salamis. The ruined Bellapais Abbey at Bellapais near Kyrenia is well worth a visit. The larger cities of Famagusta and Nicosia also have many historic sites and the wild Karpaz Peninsular with many white sandy beaches are worth a visit. Other activities such as horse riding and water sports are all easily accessible.

Travel extras: North Cyprus Ercan (also called Leftkosa/ Nicosia) International Airport: all flights are via Istanbul/ Izmir in Turkey. Daily flights available from Stanstead and Heathrow with Turkish Airlines and Pegasus. North Cyprus travel companys also offer flights to North Cyprus.

Alternatively, you can visit North Cyprus via a flight to South Cyprus Larnaca International airport. The following airlines have daily flights to South Cyprus (Larnaca):

British Airways - from Manchester, London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports.

Cyprus Airways - from London Stansted, London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Birmingham International airports.

Car hire is recommended and most North Cyprus car hire companies will provide a free return taxi service to Ercan airport but will charge about £75 return to Larnaca.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartments have air-conditioning in every room which can be reversed to provide heating in winter months. Sliding fly screens have been fitted to all patio doors and fixed fly screens to all opening windows allowing patio doors and windows to be left open during the day and at night to enjoy the cooling sea breezes without the incursion of any insects. Plenty of storage space is available in the large fitted wardrobes in each bedroom and a small safe is fitted in each apartment for storage of valuables and notebook sized PCs. Local rate internet dongle/key is also available on request. The private terraces provide a place to sit and relax with a drink whilst you watch the sun set over the Mediterranean sea after a hard day's sun bathing! Outside: Apartment 5 downstairs has a large sun terrace whilst apartment 8 upstairs has a smaller balcony/ terrace but slightly better views! Wooden table and chairs plus sun shade and sun loungers are available for outside use in both apartments.
