Chalet in Champagny-en-Vanoise, Nr. Bozel, Savoie, France -Peaceful Setting With Large Garden And A Chalet Stocked With All The Facilities For A Home From Home

A traditionally built chalet with an open living room with an open fireplace also has a large balcony facing directly south - our garden beyond the balcony has no buildings in front of it for 20km! With stunning views and space for kids and pets to play in safety we choose this place for our own family to enjoy. Well-equipped, you should have everything and more you would expect from a holiday rental. We have more information on our website, but some key features include the ability to buy fresh croissants from the restaurant up the road who will deliver to you and allow you to use their pool (undercover in winter!). Free-parking and plenty of it. The nearest public road is 100m away, so safe for children to play all around.

About the Owner

We are a family of six, seven if you include the dog. We own three holiday lets, one beach, one country and one mountain - we like to provide the types of things we would like to find in a house. So the kitchens are stocked with good quality utensils and crockery, the linen and towels are all good quality for comfort and the houses are full of quirky things to play with....

We hope you enjoy our homes as much as we enjoy putting them together.

From the Owner

The view from our garden faces 20km south and is unspoilt. It is breathtaking. The village is a typical Savoie mountain village with a sympathetic nod to Tourism without spoiling it character. Weekly programmes are organised for the kids. The village has a charming centre with restaurants, cafes, sport hire shops, a pool, tennis courts, banks and so forth- the larger town of Bozel with it's larger centre of fresh water swimming lake, is just 5km down the road. We love the charm of the village but the variety of activities here to-particularly our proximity to the Vanoise National Park for walking, cross-country skiing and mountain biking.

In the village there are organised pottery and painting classes, guided walks, historical walks, cheese tours and so on.


Miles to the beach! You can go to Italy, we went to Porto Fina, but it took time - however, Annecy just 40 mins away is as good as any beach and is freshwater!


Grenoble, Lyon & Geneva are under 2hrs away - Chambery just 45 mins. There are buses and taxis to and fro from all the airports - more info on our site. There is also the snow train that travels through the winter to Moutiers, which is just 15km down the hill from Champagny.

Further Details:

Banks, supermarkets, hire shops, restaurants, bakeries, Charcuteries etc can all be found in the village, the next town down, Bozel has more choice and Moutiers a hypermarket and everything you might need.

Booking Notes:
Your booking is confirmed when we received your 50% deposit. The booking deposit is dues within 3 days of receipt of a booking request. We also take a €200 damage deposit, returnable after your stay, assuming no damage. We then ask for the balance one month before arrival.

Saturdays, but can be flexible if it helps.
