About the property

A peaceful location living opposite a valley, yet a few minutes walk away from St Julians And Sliema seafront.

Located in one of the most tranquil places in St Julian’s we are located opposite a valley with plenty of natural sunlight. Although located in a peaceful location our property is minutes away from the sandy beach in St Georges Bay, Sliema promenade, bars and restaurants, casinos, cinema, bowling alleys, nightclubs, Sliema and St Julian’s shopping centres, and the public transport network with buses running every 5 minutes.

Our property was finished in 2011 and the Twin Rooms and Private Apartment are both newly furnished and provide a comfortable place to stay whilst on holiday at an affordable price.

A welcome pack including a bottle of wine and local Maltese Sweets are provided upon you arrival along with bottled water for the duration of your stay. We can arrange for car hire, book restaurants or help you with anything you may need whilst you are with us.

For a weekend break, a short or long let we are sure you will enjoy your stay with us here at 'Tranquillity'.

About Sarah Saliba

We have lived in St Julians for the past 4 years now. I am a Lecturer and my wife Sarah is a Nurse and we have twin boys, Matthew and Luke, aged 8.

We have been hosting guests and English students since the very 1st day we moved in 5 years ago.

We are a close knit family, we enjoy outdoor activities together, travelling when we can, swimming and spending what time we do have doing things as a family.

Why Sarah Saliba chose Saint Julians

We bought this property because we loved the location, the size and what the property has to offer. We are located in a peaceful location yet minutes away from St Julian’s and Sliema.

We bought this property in 2010 in shell form meaning we had to do all the internal works i.e. water and electricity, plastering, painting, tile laying and furnishing. It took us one year to finish this property and we are still till this day finishing the finishing touches to our property.

We called our home 'Tranquillity' as it is in such a quiet location and very peaceful.

What makes this apartment unique

If you decide to stay with us the benefits of doing so are numerous. The property is fully and newly furnished making your stay with us a comfortable one.

Malta can be a condensed place to stay but being located in the Valley there are no properties on the opposite side, just the valley. With plenty of open space and fresh air your stay will be a relaxing one.

Bottled water for the duration of your stay, welcome pack (bottle of wine and Maltese sweets) airport transfers, wi-fi internet access, linen, bath towels, maid service, utility costs and cleaning of the apartment are all included in the price. No hidden charges.

We live on site so if you have any requirements or need help we are always here for you and we always do our best to accommodate the needs of our guests

Notes on accommodation: The whole property is double glazed keeping the property cool during the summer months and warm during winter. For peace of mind and security the whole outside of the property is monitored with 24 hour CCTV cameras. Linen and towels, TV and DVD, internet access, maid service, washing of laundry and ironing of clothes are all provided at no extra cost. Personalised shopping delivered before arrival on request. Airport transfers are free for stays over a week. A child minding service is also available at a small fee should you wish a quiet evening out with your partner or friends. We live on site so assistance should you require it can be provided throughout the duration of your stay. My wife is also a Nurse should you require any medical assistance during your stay. Visit our website for latest offers, promotions and late deals. Outside: The apartment has a front and private backyard. Both of which may be made use of. If you have children, they may make use of our upstairs garden and play with our children.

Great Holiday

Just returned back after having a lovely 10days staying at Sarah/Mark's apartment. The apartment was very well equipped and ideal location. Quiet area but within 5 mins walk into the hustle and bustle of Spinola Bay. Sarah and Mark were lovely, making sure we had everything we needed. Lovely court yard area in the back and small seating area in front of apartment. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Thank you again Sarah and Mark.

Good Location for St. Julian's Bay

Das Apartment war in einem guten Zustand.

Wir hätten uns allerdings eine Spülmaschine für die ansonsten gute Küche gewünscht.

Absolut Katastrophal ist die Parksituation dort, selbst anwohner haben so gut wie keine Möglichkeit zu Parken.

Ich finde es etwas unfair das darauf nicht in der Beschreibung hingewiesen wurde. Gerade wenn man wie wir mit Mietwagen unterwegs ist, wird dieses zum täglichen Ärgernis.

With regards to the parking situation the wall built blocking more car parking space was done to months ago when a previous guest of mine drove her car accidentally down into the valley. The police then ordered the owners of the land to brick access onto that stretch of land. I have tried to make an offer to buy parts of the land in front of the property but the owner so far refuses to sell. Regards Mark

Simply fantastic!

Sarah and Mark are both lovely and incredibly helpful. The apartment scores high in everything you need: cleanliness, spaciousness and location, with the latter being probably the key feature - close enough to St. Julian and Paceville, perfect to travel around the island (make sure you rent a car) and quiet enough for you to enjoy your rest at night. Will definitely come back to this place!

Highly Recommend!!!

My partner & I had a wonderful one week stay at this apartment!

Mark and Sarah were great hosts, they were extremely helpful throughout our whole stay, from the very moment we arrived.

The 2 bedroom apartment itself is very nice and clean, with a well equipped kitchen which was perfect for us as we wanted to make the most of preparing our own meals during our stay.

What we really liked was that you have the option to choose items for breakfast. We went for the continental so we had food restocked in the fridge/cupboard every day.

As other guests have mentioned, the apartment itself is situated in a quiet area, yet you can take such a short walk that will bring you to Spinola Bay and St Julian's.

We really couldn't of asked for more. If you're reading this review as you're considering staying here, we extremely recommend it... You won't be disappointed! :)

Great apartment, Great location, Great family

This is an ideal apartment for so many! There was 6 in our group (3 Generations) and the apartment was spacious, very clean, well equipped (Air conditioning was very welcoming). Mark and Sarah (and the boys) couldn't do enough for us. The location is ideal. Close enough to walk to restaurants and the sea front, but far enough to be quiet when you want it. It is also very close to the main routes when you want to sightsee. We are looking to book for 2017 as we write this review. That's the test - would you come back and the answer is a simple "Yes, anytime".

Rocky and sandy beach 6 min walk, all others under 25 min drive. The pristine clear Mediterranean sea surrounds the Island shimmering and inviting to enjoy a most relaxing swimming in dark blue deep or light blue sandy shallows as seen in many advertising we guarantee. Water skiing and diving is available most months throughout the year.


Malta International Airport, 15 min drive. Comino or round Malta day cruise 10 min bus pick up. Sicily and Mt Etna daily sailings fast ferry, 15 minutes drive

Gozo Channel, 35 min drive. Cruise Terminal, 15 min drive. Car hire is not essential, buses are just 5 minutes walk.


Short distance to all amenities and even to other villages. St Julians is in the centre and the house is just 5 minutes walk from the most central square near the promenade where many buses to anywhere go direct.
