About the Owner

My name is Claire and I live some of the year in the most beautiful part of the world which is Cap d'Antibes. I have lived here for the past 11 years and have never ceased to be astounded at the beauty of the region. We are surrounded by the deep blue Azur Mediterranean sea and spend hours just watching the sailing yachts and small boats pass by. During spring we have a profusion of Wisteria, then followed by Jasmine and exquisite local summer flowers. WONDERFUL to live in a most interesting and historical part of the Cote d'Azur and our proximity to various ports and the old town of Antibes, plus Jazz in Juan Les Pin in July, means life is never dull. Many famous golf courses nearby, and dining out is an experience. You are spoilt for choice. Share my paradise. WEDDING PARTIES WELCOME

Stunning, spacious apartment

A family group of us stayed here for a week whilst in France for my daughter's wedding. The apartment was very clean, well laid out and the kitchen is equipped to a high standard. We all loved our morning breakfasts on the large Cannes balcony watching the yachts in front of us. Claire the owner provided a service over and above our expectations, including referring a doctor for my husband who was ill, and driving myself and my daughter to the hair salon on the day of her wedding. She even did the airport runs for us! We hope to return again one day.

Cap d'Antibes is unique, full of light, temperate climate, less than two hours from London and 30 mins from Nice Airport. Three important reasons why it is easy to access. Proximity to the sea, short distance to the surrounding towns, Cannes, Nice, Monaco,Grasse, famous villages nearby Biot, Valbonne, St. Paul de Vence. We are spoilt for choice.Fancy hiking in the surrounding mountains, 20mins by car. Fancy a picnic by one of magnificent waterfalls or lakes, 40mins by car. Skiing in Winter, sailing in summer, miriads of choices. A reflective day painting, fishing or reading , you can do it. Blue skies for most of the year. Music is everywhere, find pleasure with a relaxing glass of wine in a lovely village or town square, watching people pass by and listening to local music, BLISS.

The tranquility of the area throughout most of the year is unsurpassed, being a penninsula, mostly local traffic. There are famous walks around the Cap and botanic garden. Many beaches, public and private - popular Garoupe beach in summer - ideal for children. Beach Restaurants which remain open all year, serve excellent french cuisine. Local shops, butcher, pharmacy. Bus service to Antibes/Juan Les Pins. Enjoy an aperatif in the nearby Belle Rive Hotel, (Scott Fitzgerald's old haunt), or in season , lunch at the Eden Roc Terrace. The apartment iS a large cool Penthouse, with Sea Views everywhere, birds singing and green palms etc, It promotes, healing, silence, and if you are a party person, ideal for entertaining up to 40 persons. Reserved parking for owners and guests. Outside: Terrace is fully furnished with beautiful flowers throughout and ample seating for guest. Tables front and rear for all day entertaining. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and property is cleaned once per week. More cleaning etc, can be provided on request. Linen etc. Changed once per week. Other: Large hall area ideal for entertaining overspill of party guests etc. Marble floors throughout apartment and soft lighting.
