Our apartment is a private gated complex, located in the middle of the development. The communal pool is exclusive for the use of the 24 apartments therein. The apartment is ideally positioned for all amenities such as beaches, shops, bars and restaurants - all within walking distance. There are 3 beaches near to the apartment - Cabo Roig, Cala Captain and La Zenia. All beaches are surrounded by miles of clean white beaches with water sports featuring strongly in the area. All beaches house beach huts serving paella, tapas, ice-cream, coffee, drinks and music from early morning till late at night. A short drive down the Coast takes you to the Mar Menor with beautiful beaches & still shallow waters ideal for children. Nightlife - you will be spoilt for choice as there is a long strip of bars & restaurants within 5 mins walking distance from the apartment. A short taxi ride will take you to Villa Martin (hosting again a variety of bars & restaurants all under one roof and the newly built Zenia Boulevard hosting eateries, retail, entertainment etc.

good size appartment

Lovely relaxing holiday. Loved the pool, not too busy. Nice beaches about 15-20 mins walk away. Rosie provides excellent customer service. Good value appartment that was a great base for exploring. Good size for family of 4. May need a car if you want more than beach and pool.

Excellent value holiday apartment

Excellent holiday,being our first stay in La Zenia,thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The apartment was exactly as described, would highly recommend. The fact that Rosie allows her customers access to many more items within her property ie bikes,toys,pool floats etc has to be a bonus.Everything was clean and tidy in a secure and very quiet location. Loved the roof terrace relaxing in the hammocks.

The convenience of being able to walk to supermarkets, bars restaurants and of course the beach,where there are excellent coastal paths to explore was right up our street.

My husband is a keen golfer and enjoyed playing two of the courses near by.

Our holiday was very enjoyable thanks Rosie

Excellent family holiday

We have just returned from our family holiday at Rosie's apartment, there was a family of 7 of us who travelled and Rosie's apartment more then satisfied everything we needed and could hope for,

It is in a lovely location with plenty on offer to both the left and right of the apartments.

My children loved the pool area and spent many hours there, the roof terrace is excellent as so tranquil and a lovely suntrap,

The apartment had everything you could possibly need available and the air con was a must have as the heat was so intense day and night,

Thank you very much for a enjoyable stay Rosie you are most helpfull right throughout and a pleasure to deal with.

We have just got home from an amazing holiday in la Zenia made all the better by the suburb apartments that we stayed in, Rosie's apartments were great all are needs were catered for which made our stay all the more enjoyable and stress free which is what you want when you holidaying abroad. I would highly recommend anyone to stay in these apartment and we are ready looking at when we can go back and stay in Rosie's appartments. Thanks Rosie!!

Great apartment to stay in!

We are just back from our Holiday in Spain.We arrived into the apartment on the 3 July and we stayed there for 15 days. The Apartment is as described by Rosie and it is well equipped for anyone who is on a self catering Holiday.The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities required.It was handy having the washing facilities for clothes as it meant you could come home with no washing to be done,bonus in my book!! The Bedrooms both had very good storage for clothes etc and the air conditioning worked really well,you can set to the temperature that is needed especially if its extremely hot as it was for us at 29 degrees at 11pm.The TV has all your UK stations so you can keep entertained whilst indoors. The pool we had to ourselves for the majority of our stay so we enjoyed that.

There are plenty of Irish and UK pubs very nearby if you want one and also an Irish and UK shop for your essentials also. The Strip further down but still just a walk away has loads of restaurants,pubs and plenty of shopping alongside where you might pick up a bargain or two.There is also a Chinese ,international shop that is open until 11pm if you need essentials and branded names that you would be familiar with and also sell alcohol too.

If you want a traditional Spanish meal which is true traditional cooking there is a small Family owned restaurant behind the strip called " La Sal". There is great food in the Restaurant beside Orihuela Go Karting,great Spanish food and not bad pricing too.

The Big bonus for great shopping is the new La Zenia Boulevard which is within waking distance just behind Lidl. great food,great bargains and open until 11pm every night. Best place to eat is Fosters Hollywood!

If you want a great Beer then head up to " De Bassus " its a German place that brew their own beer right there, great beer ,fabulous food and if you like deserts then you have to try their Oreo Cake OMG its massive!!!

All in all if you want somewhere to enjoy Food, enjoy a drink and shopping then this is a great apartment as it is close to everything within walking distance and if you want to venture out to shops quickly for something then the three bikes in the shed are an extra bonus to your stay. Rosie is great to deal with and very helpful with your stay we as a family would highly recommend her apartment to stay in. Thanks for the stay in your apartment Rosie x

Great apartment & location. Highly recommended!

Rosie's (the owner) description is spot on!

My Partner & I loved the pool (large, quiet, in nice grounds) & the sun terrace (sun beds, hammocks, table & chairs) - ideal when we wanted to spend some time in the complex. The roof-top terrace is perfect for privacy & has great views. Lots of stuff for kids (if you have them) & bikes (for those into cycling).

The apartment was very comfortable with excellent self catering facilities. We took our mp4 player (movies & TV shows) & was able to connect to the large flat screen TV - when we wanted a night in. Everything is in walking distance - beeches, bars & restaurants, supermarkets - that’s why La Zenia is a great location.

We had a car for our 2-week holiday so we could visit Murcia, Torrevieja & Guardamar – highly recommended. It also allowed us to explore beeches down the coast at Mar Menor. Our favourite was Lo Pogan. There is a great cliff-top walk with steps down to Cabo Roig & a fossilized beech at La Caleta. We loved it but you need to be fairly fit.

Nightlife: Try the ‘Cabo Roig Strip’ (10mins walk) with a large selection of bars & restaurants, very good prices. We preferred Zenia Boulevard (15mins walk) a modern shopping & entertainment complex. Favourite bar/restaurants: Lizzarans (Tapas) – addictive food & fun staff; De Bassus (Bavarian style) – also great fun, try the pork knuckle if you have a large appetite. Tip: Go to a Spanish bar/restaurant & try the menú del día (today’s menu) – excellent value for money.

Coast/Beach:

Orihuela Costa has been awarded the blue flag in recognition of safety & cleanliness for Cabo Roig, La Zenia and Cala Captain beaches. All within 10/15 mins walking distance. Water sports available during summer months.

The beautiful Mar Menor coastline with stretches from San Pedro to La Manga is a 15 min drive away. Alternatively head North towards Alicante you will find the very attractive sandy beaches of Guardamar and La Marina. Santa Pola hosts one of the best wind surfing locations.

Travel:

Airlines: - BA, EasyJet, Monarch, Ryanair fly to both Alicante and Murcia. Alicante Airport is 50 minutes away by car. San Javier (Murcia) is 20 minutes away by car. I am able to give you a tel no for some very reliable taxi pick up and drop off.

Distances:

Torrevieja - 10 minutes by car.

Alicante - 50 mins by car.

Benidrom - 1 hour 30 mins by car.

Murcia - 30/40 mins by car.

Further Details:

Water park at Torrevieja, Aquopolis open from 9 June to 3 Sept. Theme park at Benidorm - Terra Mittica, Aualandia Water Park. Water sports available at most beaches. Vast amounts of cash machines, Internet cafes and Banks within walking distance which accept the GBP debit and credit cards.
