Brightness is the order of the day with this pretty little apartment. And if the bright interior is not enough to keep you inside, the view from the balcony certainly satisfies. Overlooking the Los Cristianos harbour on one side you can watch the ferries set off toward La Gomera. On the other, you can see them continue their journey beyond the blue flag sand of Las Vistas beach. Centrally located in the charming fishing town of Los Cristianos, the apartment block has no pool, but it can easily be forgiven when the Atlantic Ocean provides adequate swimming, snorkelling and watersport facilities. Your immediate location is as easy on the foot as it is on the eye, being wonderfully level for walking or cycling along the promenade. Shops, restaurants and bars are in plentiful supply too and begin swiftly as you set off for the day with a supermarket on the ground floor. Overall, Los Cristianos still maintains its enchantment and you will not be disappointed.
Having stayed in this apartment for a month I can honestly say we were very impressed, it's been completely refurbished throughout and to a good standard, it was also very comfortable, only two minutes to the beach where there are an abundance of bars and restaurants. Lisa who looks after the apartment is a little gem, anything you wanted to know was not a problem for her, thank you Lisa, last and not least we have already booked for five weeks later in the year if we could give more stars we would
Mentioned when booking we had mobility problems but assured ideal as was on flat area, not true as apartment entrance has steep steps and apart from seafront surrounding area is a combination of steep inclines and steps. Kitchen area not clean, cupboards over cooker and sink greasy & sticky to touch inside & out. If using cooker, work surface is the draining for area for sink! Balcony view is not what you would expect after viewing pictures on web, plus doors are best wedged to stop them rattling if wind blows. Bathroom layout is quite different in that you can rest your head on the edge of the hand basin whilst sitting on the pan (this must be done at an angle though as toilet roll holder restricts room for legs), we had quite a laugh at this! Also in this room another amusing item was the shower, water from the head was so weak that you had to snuggle back under the flow but in the process your bum kept hitting the water lever and shutting it off, laughs all round. Not so amusing though was the comfort in the apartment, although the idea was to get out and enjoy the sun, at the end of the day its good to sit back and relax with the tele or a good book. Not possible! every seat in the apartment was hard and uncomfortable after 5 to 10 mins and even doubling on the cushions didn't really help. That was probably the worst part, dreading the thought of another evening of discomfort, tele that kept losing signal and then to a hard uncomfortable bed. All in all we enjoyed our time in the sun, had a good few laughs in the apartment thinking its that or cry but would we go back there? I think not! Its not expensive but really needs refurbishment to provide a basic level of comfort.
