About the Owner

My name is Eva, I am married and I live in a house near Kivotos Villa together with my family. I studied French literature and Hotel Management. I am working now in a farm of organic cultivation in the area only 2km away from Kivotos Villa and from our home. My working experience together with my studies taught me to be close to the needs of travellers..

Perfect Vacation Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at this Villa was absolutely perfect for my family of four! Eva, our host, and her family were extremely hospitable and helpful. She checked in on us daily and advised us on which places to see. The Villa is fully equipped, with spacious, clean rooms and has an amazing view. Eva stocked our refrigerator and gifted us a bottle of fresh olive oil from her garden. She was extremely kind and sweet. Many people travel to the more mainstream and slightly overrated islands of Greece, whereas the actuality of Greece's nature and culture is in Crete. There is so much to explore in Crete and the most perfect place to live in is Eva's Villa! Thank you so much for your hospitality, we would love to come back again! xx

Excellent facilities and wonderful views.

  • 5 of 5

My son is in a wheelchair and the villa was very spacious enabling my son to access the shower room with the aid of a manual hoist, sourced for us by Eva. The villa had electric gates which meant it was private and secure. The villa and pool was cleaned twice a week and fruit and veg was brought from Eva's garden as was her own olive oil. The whole holiday experience was wonderful and would recommend this villa. Would hope to come again.

Location Amazing, Villa Stunning!

  • 5 of 5

The property is in a wonderful location near the beautiful town of Rethymnon. it's high on a hill which means you get a lovely breeze with stunning views. The property is behind gates in a lovely quiet spot. Everything you need is in the villa and it is immaculate. The owner like all Greek people could not be nicer, she is helpful, speaks great English and nothing is too much trouble. The children absolutely loved the pool which is a great size. A car is needed but if you want to see the best of Crete it's a must anyway. Highly highly recommended.

Lovely Villa, Lovely Sea View, Friendly Owner

  • 5 of 5

4 of us stayed at the villa for 10 days in June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Eva, the owner met us and took us to the villa and was extremely friendly and helpful. She had stocked the fridge with some essentials on arrival which was much appreciated.

The villa is fairly new with a large garden, beautiful pool 1.8M depth all over, a pergola which was a nice place to sit and read. Eva bought us a lovely home made pie and various other gifts throughout our stay. We only used the upstairs part of the house but there is a bedroom rooms with bathroom downstairs. Hardly needed the air-conditioning as the villa is very cool. You need a car to get out and about but the town is only 10 mins drive, we have been to this area for several years now and there is plenty to see, Rethymnon is a beautiful town a warren of shops and restaurants and a port area full of fish and sea food eateries. 5 of our all-time best restaurants are there....

Excellent family friendly villa

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the villa for one week at the end of April and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner (Eva) was extremely friendly and helpful. She made sure the house was stocked with essential food on our arrival which was much appreciated and was helpful with sightseeing tips and local information. The villa itself was beautiful with great views of the sea, spacious and light. We only used the upstairs part of the house which we felt was lighter and warmer than the rooms downstairs. It was extremely family friendly with toys, a stair gate, cot, high chair and utensils, perfect for our very active toddler. The outside area was great with garden, patio and pool (although not warm enough to use the pool). You would need a car to get out and about and discover the local area. Plenty to see and do. In short the villa comes highly recommended!
