Plantation View Pollards Mill, St Philip, Barbados, Caribbean - Peaceful Location 10 Minutes Drive To The Sea

One bedroom apartment but could accommodate a baby or small child. It is in the grounds of a beautiful old plantation house with views looking to the sea. It is under 10 minutes drive away from the sea and the nearest shops. The owner offers complimentary pick up from the airport and places basic provisions in the villa for the day of arrival.

About Linda G Cooper

I moved to Barbados in December 2008 having fallen in love with the island earlier in the year. My property is an old plantation house and dates back to 1712. I fell in love with the property on my second visit to the island because of the wonderful tranquil atmosphere, it is a little oasis. 'My little piece of Paradise on earth'. It is close enough to the Crane beach and resort to enjoy their facilities, which include some great restaurants and musical entertainment. There are many activities such as; surfing, golf, walking etc close by and the spectacular scenery of the east coast is only a 15 minute drive away.

I enjoy meeting people and entertaining and where possible I entertain the guests that visit Pollards Mill.

Why Linda G Cooper chose Barbados

The apartment Plantation View was completed as a new build at the end of March 2011. It is for the use of couples but has room for a small child or a baby.

I enjoy this location because it is very peaceful and has beautiful grounds and wonderful views out to the sea.

What makes this apartment unique

It is quiet but it is easy to access the local supermarket and the Crane resort with its restaurants and the famous Crane beach.

It is not far from the south coast, which has good restaurants, beaches and night life.

The property is unique because of its peace and tranquility.

All the guests that have stayed here have enjoyed the peace and tranquility and the sense of space, as well as the abundant wildlife.

There is always a breeze, which is very welcome in the hotter months!!

As the owner I have on many occasions entertained the guests in them main house, which as an old plantation house dating back to 1712 has been a great experience for them.

Wonderful holiday

Our recent visit to Pollards Mill was a wonderful experience. Linda and Franscesco are very hospitable and accommodating people. The studio apartment we stayed in is as luxurious as the pictures suggest, it is set in the most beautiful grounds surrounded by plantations, it is serene and tranquil. It is definitely a little peace of paradise. As Linda says you would need a car although there is a bus service available but much easier by car, nothing is too far away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the beautiful birds singing in the morning, a perfect place for a romantic getaway. We would definite stay there again.

Notes on accommodation: The accommodation is on 2 floors and has primarily been designed with honeymoon couples in mind or those looking for a romantic getaway. Although it would be suitable for a couple with a baby or small child. It is very spacious and comfortable. Outside: There are extensive grounds, which have beautiful views to the sea. There is outdoor furniture on the patio and balcony. There is a large shared pool in a fenced off area with a shower and toilet facility very close by. Utility Room: N/A Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included, which are changed weekly. A laundry service is provided. The maid goes in every day if the guests would like this.
