Lovely little cottage

  • 4 of 5

We have just a four nights in this lovely little cottage. It is comfy and cosy and spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It's made even better by the fact that it is dog friendly. It's in the perfect spot for the local beaches and also sandringham which is well worth a visit. We also arrived to a table set for tea and cake and treats for our little dog which was a lovely thought by the owner. We definitely will be returning.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

We were there for four nights over New Years holiday, myself, my wife my two girls (aged 5&7) and Ralph (the dog) loved our time in the cottage!

Welcome cake, lovely quality towels and bedding, very comfortable for us all to relax in the evening and the beds were very comfortable!

Tesco is very convenient to stock up the fridge and is well located to explore the north Norfolk coast.

Cosy and spotlessly clean

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is as described and more! Well maintained and equipped for every need. Vast selection of DVDs books games and very comfortably furnished. We stay in Heacham every Christmas as we visit relatives for the festivities. This is by far the best accomodation we have stayed in. Our dog was made welcome with the provision of a treat, we were greeted by tasteful Christmas decorations and a wrapped gift along with cake and the essentials needed after a long journey, fabulous.

I was reticent about putting this review on as it will surely prove difficult to book in the future, however such attention to detail deserves recognition. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Cosy, clean, comfortable cottage

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely 4-day break in this quaint cottage which had all the facilities we required. We found it quiet and relaxing and in an excellent location in the centre of the village - shops and bus stops were 2 minutes walk away. Communication with the owner was excellent and everything we needed was provided including a welcome pack - thank you very much, Catherine.

Kids bedroom not ideal for us.

  • 3 of 5

We had a lovely stay here last week, the cottage is well positioned for all the lovely beaches on the north coast. It is well equipped and well decorated. The only downside for us, with our two children aged 6 and 8, was that their bedroom didn't have a door only a single sheet of cotton as a curtain in the doorway. And the same single sheet cotton curtains on the window and sky light. These made it impossible to keep the room dark, which resulted in the kids waking up at 5am, as it was daylight in their room! Also, putting them to bed required us to tiptoe around downstairs for a little while until they fell asleep. Some heavyweight lined curtains for both doorway and windows would have been much better. We remedied this with blankets and towels and sticking cardboard to the skylight to make it dark and then everything was wonderful!

Beautiful homely warm cosy cottage in a very friendly little village

The cottage was spotlessly clean

Well situated for beauty spots and outstanding beaches in North Norfolk

Dave the butcher (Heacham Butchers) is lovely, so friendly and a very good sense of humour .... delicious braising steak

When we arrived at the cottage the owner had kindly laid out the tea cups for a cuppa and a Carrot Cake :-)

Thank you for a relaxing week in October, sunshine the whole week
