The apartment occupies the entire ground floor of an historic bow-fronted Regency townhouse located in one of Brighton's prime conservation areas. There are sea views from the front room and the charming south-west facing garden provides a quiet space for relaxing in the afternoon sunshine. The excellent bars, shops and restaurants of fashionable Kemp Town are close by and Brighton city centre is a 15 minute walk along the seafront. On-street parking costs approximately £5 per day.

We loved our stay. We're regular weekend visitors to Brighton but this was the first time we decided on a rental rather than hotel and to make our base in Kemp Town, both choices were spot on. Kemp Town is full of great places to eat and drink, everyone was so friendly we ended up spending most of our time there. Your apartment was the icing on the cake, what a fantastic place! We loved it and will be back. Thank you. (November 2012)

Light, Bright & Quiet Flat

I came down to Brighton for a week and stayed in this fabulous flat. It was absolutely stunning, bright, spacious and just a stones throw from the beach. It's a great position, with some fabulous bars and cafes round the corner. The beach this end of Brighton is lovely and peaceful, though it's a relatively short walk to the hub bub if you want it. The beds were really comfortable, the curtains really well lined and with such a peaceful location I slept like a log. The flat itself was beautifully presented and it felt like a really loved home. Big, spacious with amazing tall ceilings, it felt almost palatial!

wow what an amazing find!

This is a lovely property. Much bigger than I expected. Very comfortable and nicely kitted out, it is like home from home. Everything you need and more. Lovely welcome pack with lots of snacks. Milk, tea, coffee and sugar there too. So handy having two double bedrooms. You can look out of the lounge window, down the road and see the sea. Looking forward to going back in the summer and making use of the decking area. Lovely modern bathroom with lots of hot water and great central heating system. Quite honestly I can't think of anything negative to say about this great property. Great communication from the owner with a quick response to any questions. We will be staying here again.

Beautiful flat, fantastic location, helpful owner

I would really recommend this apartment - lots of people come back again. The details Sally sent were great, especially about parking. Real thought had been put into everything - best welcome goods I have seen and good facilities and lovely decor. Everything in easy reach and frequent buses - Pavilion is wow, museum's 20th century furniture collection fascinating including Dali's Mae West sofa, Sealife centre very good and building gives it that extra bit. Enjoyed everywhere we ate, but Casalingo exceptional and Salt Room lunchtime deal well worth it and Urra di Mare Mandrarossa wine delicious with seafood as it has a salt tang.

Very high standard of accommodation

We couldn't believe our luck when we opened the door to this charming, bright, well-appointed flat with a view of the sea. My daughter & I felt cosy & secure & had everything we needed right in the heart of Kemp Town, the coolest part of Brighton. Lovely sea-front walks right from the front door & fantastic cafes & antique shops on every corner. We had such lovely time!

Elegant flat in perfect Brighton location

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely, extremely comfortable apartment. The flat is very well equipped, clean and tidy. While being within walking distance to the centre, we could come back and relax in peaceful surroundings. I have always enjoyed spending time by the sea and have got to know Brighton very well over the years. This town has it all - vibrant night life, fantastic shopping, a cosmopolitan arts scene and outstanding natural beauty. When I viewed this apartment it was love at first sight, it has real character and is my favourite place to relax and unwind.

Nearest Airport : Gatwick airport at 28 Miles Nearest Barpub : Bristol Arms (2 streets away) Nearest Ferry : Newhaven at 8 Miles Nearest Golf : East Brighton Golf Club at 1 Miles Nearest Train : Brighton station, 50 mins to London Victoria at 2 Miles Nearest Motorway : M23 at 29 Miles Nearest Restaurant : Sam's of Brighton (2 streets away) Nearest Beach : Direct access to Brighton Beach Car: not necessary


1 minute walk to the Marine Parade promenade with easy access to the beach. The Palace Pier and Brighton Marina are both about a 15 minute walk away.


London Gatwick airport is a 30 minute drive, London Heathrow is 1 hour away. Newhaven to Dieppe ferry terminal is a 20 minute drive and the Brighton rail station is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk. Travel by train to London takes 50 minutes. Cycle hire available nearby as well as excellent bus services. 'City Car Club' vehicles available nearby. On street 'pay and display' parking costs up to £5 for the full day.


Brighton Town Centre with the Palace Pier, Royal Pavilion and the famous Lanes are 15 minutes walk away. Lewes old town with its famous antique shops and market is 20 minutes away by car.

Brighton is the ideal base for exploring the south of England, with its lovely gardens, castles, stately homes and national parks. Prices to June 2017:
Low Season (October to March): £110/night midweek, £120 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and public holidays, £650/week. Minimum 3 night stay.

High Season (April, May, June, September): £120/night midweek, £130 for Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights and public holidays, £750/week. Minimum 3 night stay.

Peak Season (July and August, Easter and Christmas/New Year): £800/week. Minimum 7 night stay.

Payment may be made via electronic bank transfer, cheques drawn on a UK bank account or credit card via Paypal. Please note that you are liable for all surcharges, bank charges or handling fees when using Paypal or transferring money internationally.

For me the best thing about this apartment is its tranquil atmosphere. It is a well-proportioned space with high ceilings and is full of sunshine and natural light. It is a wonderful place to escape to, yet only moments from the buzz and action of Kemp Town and the city centre beyond.
