excellent apartment and ideal location

The property was clean and well maintained.Picked up the keys at the Mirimar hotel as per Tonies instructions. Cleaner came and changed the linen etc .half way through our break.

Perfect location

Myself and my family have just returned from a fabulous holiday to pollenca, our stay in this apartment was perfect, beautiful and plenty of room for us as a family. Antoni was very helpful and very generous with our welcome pack on arrival, the location is perfect as beach is just across the road. Would highly recommend this apartment, and will be back again soon.

Excellent, great size, perfect location

Myself, my wife and our two children (12 and 9 years old) stayed in this apartment for 1 week in September 2014. Toni, the owner was very helpful with the booking process and provided contact details to help us book transport from the airport to the apartment.

7 - 10 days prior to our arrival, Toni contacted me as promised and provided the information on where to collect the keys, how to pay the balance of the apartment cost, best places to park and other useful tips. As promised, when we arrived, everything was in place and as expected. The apartment is on the second floor and up 5 or 6 small flights of stairs in a nice secure, neat looking building. It is ideally situated about 50 metres from Pine Walk, where a great selection of restaurants and shops can be found and just around the corner from the market square, which has lots of bars and restaurants to enjoy. Upon entering the apartment, we found it very spacious and clean. The main living area is comfortable, with two comfy sofas (one a recliner), wi-fi, original artwork on the walls, hi-fi system with bluetooth, and nice large dining table. Moving towards the back of the apartment, the kitchen was well equipped with a microwave oven, fridge / freezer, hob, electric oven / grill and plenty of crockery, cutlery, etc. It may be a small thing to comment on, but the kitchen had tea-towels and sponges supplied, which other apartments previously had not. Another nice touch from the owner was that we had a packet of almond cakes, some water and orange juice left for us to settle us in. On the subject of food, there is a small Spar shop about 10 metres from the apartment for your essentials, but I would recommend using the Eroski shop as it is much cheaper and used by the locals, which is always a good sign. There are two bathrooms, one smaller than the other, both have baths and showers. The 3 bedrooms are very spacious with lots of storage space for clothing and suitcases. The main double bedroom has air conditioning and a small balcony with the washing machine located and looked out onto swiiming pools of the surrounding hotels and was ideal drying your towels after a day at the beach. There was a fold up clothes hanger provided, which was very useful to hang everything on.

Overall, we were extremely happy with the apartment and would definitely use this again.

Fabulous apartment in an ideal location

This excellently priced apartment has a fantastic location just one block back from the beachfront and a five minute walk from the town square. It has a wee Spar 10m away so very handy and the local Eroski is also conveniently located. The apartment itself is very spacious and nicely furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with Bosch dishwasher and oven. There's a flat hob and a microwave and fridge freezer. On the balcony there is even a washing machine. The view from the rear balcony is really nice, looking out over neighbouring pools and gardens towards the town square. There are two bathrooms both with showers over baths and there was even a handy spot beside a cleaning cupboard to stash our suitcases out of the way. We were travelling with a 7yr old and a 1yr old. The owners kindly provided a travel cot and sheets as well as a high chair which helped us a lot. The 7 year old loved the second bedroom with the bunk bed. There was tons of storage space in all the bedrooms for clothes etc with drawers and wardrobes. The lounge is large with reclining sofa and a dining area. We tended to eat there but there was also a kitchen table and chairs. Two of the three bedrooms are air conditioned as is the lounge but we actually didn't need it very much as we tended to keep the shutters closed on the bedrooms anyway. There is wifi in the apartment so no need to run up a large bill using mobiles and tablets. It was a wonderful holiday in a brilliant location and we have already asked the owner about next years's availability.

Excellent

This apartment is exactly as described. It is spacious and furnished to a very high standard. As a family of 5 we found the apartment excellent. It was clean and very well maintained, with excellent kitchen facilities.

The apartment is just 50m away from the beach and although you can see the beach it is still quiet and private.

I would recommend this apartment to friends and family

The owner was excellent to communicate with and answered e-mails promptly. There were clear instructions left regarding the keys.

An excellent property in a very well located area. There is absolutely no need to get a car with this property.

Nearest Airport : Palma de Mallorca at 60 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

The largest beach of Port de Pollenca is just a five minute walk. There are several small beaches in the pedestrian area and are about less of five minutes walking. The beaches of the Pine Walk are between five and fifteen minutes walking. The beach of Formentor is at 5km and the beach of Cala San Vicente is at 7km.

Travel:

Palma Airport is a 60km. Car hire is not necessary.

Distances:

Pollenca with the historic center is at 7km. Cala San Vicente with wonderful beaches and prehistoric caves is at 7km. Formentor beach is at 5km (Ferry to formentor is at just over 5 minutes walk). Albufeira Pollenca with a great variety of birds is at 5km. Alcudia with the prehistoric villa of Pollentia is at 7km.

In the harbour, there are boats for to go to Formentor beach.
