Why Michelle Brockbank chose Gwynedd - Snowdonia
We bought our apartment in Aberdovey after spending many happy family holidays on the beach. Going to Aberdovey always relaxes us after stressful times working. Just looking out of the lounge window across the beach and sea or watching the kids play on the beach with a 'sundowner', the perfect way to end the day.
What makes this apartment unique
It is also now the prefect location to enjoy some new hobbies, now the children have grown up. It is the prefect place to chill and play some golf or sail.
The walking in Snowdonia is amazing and the cinema in Twywn is a real treat (like going back to the mid 20th century).

Fabulous 5 star apartment
This is a beautiful apartment, decorated very tastefully as someone's home rather than done up for the holiday market. The views with it being on the second floor are amazing and I could have sat in the window all weekend. The apartment is extremely spacious with one twin and one double room with a small outside area off the master bedroom. The bathrooms were pristine and the showers very powerful. The kitchen had everything you could need and more. I wanted to take home the cooker, it was better than ours at home! Lovely lovely spacious and homely, family apartment and looking forward to staying again.

Activity and Interests
Special interest holidays:
Aberdovey is an absolute paradise for water sports enthusiasts. The estuary is ideal for sailing, canoeing, sail boarding and water-skiing. The coastline up to Tywyn is popular with surfers and the coastline in Cardigan Bay has some lovely ports for those into yachting. Aberdovey has good facilities for yachts with moorings and quayside berths. The Aberfyi sailing fortnight, with racing most days and many social events operates from the Aberdovey yacht club at the end of July. Book early for an Aberdovey break around this period.
Conscientious powerboat, jet bike and Jet Ski owners are also welcome and there are launching facilities available through the Harbour Master. The best swimming/sunbathing beaches run from the western tip of Aberdovey up to Tywyn - 4 miles of sand-dune-lined golden shoreline! There cannot be too many hobbies and interests that aren't catered for in and around Aberdovey. There are many beautiful walks for the casual and enthusiastic rambler.
The apartment overlooks the sandy beach, which is ideal for families looking for a traditional seaside holiday.
Aberdovey railway station is a short 10 minute walk for the apartment if you wish to use public transport. A car is useful to access local sites of interest, but not essential. we provide a free car park voucher for the car park located across the road from the apartment.
Shrewsbury 65miles. Aberystwyth 25 miles. Machynleth 13 miles. Tywyn 4 miles.
