We love the climate of the Algarve and the fabulous golf courses together with the large number of bars & restaurants in the area. We are 10 minutes drive from all of the best beaches as well as the Vilamoura marina, but our apartment is located in a lovely relaxing resort. The best of both Worlds!

Activity and Interests


Vilamoura's marina and award winning Falesia beach are only a 5 minute drive away. The beach at Fonte Santa is also only a 5 minute drive and is highly recommended with beach facilities, water sports and a great ocean front restaurant. There are also beaches situated all along the coast at Vale do Lobo, Quinto do Lago and Quarteira and are within easy reach.


Faro airport is 15 -20 mins drive from Vila Sol village. Use of a car is not essential as taxis from the airport are readily available at competitive rates.


Aquapark less than 3 mins by car. There is a Supermarket in Almancil which is approx. 10 mins by car. Also 2 local supermarket just 5 minutes down the road towards Vilamoura/Quarteira. Vilamoura with marina, restaurants, supermarket and banks approx. 5 mins by car. Vale Do Lobo is approx. 15 mins by car. Zoomarine at Guia is 30 mins by car where you can swim with dolphins.

Further Details:

5 star Vila Sol Resort. There is an English-style pub, a restaurant, and a wine bar; as well as an all-day deli on the compound just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Also, the pool bar (located inside the compound by the central pool) is open during the summer months.

There are Tennis courts and a Driving Range up by the hotel, with access via the 27-hole Golf Course and clubhouse.

The accommodation is ideally situated with access to local amenities and also close the Vilamoura Marina and other local attractions. Ground floor patio has immediate access to extensive landscaped gardens and swimming pools (one heated), children's pools, Jacuzzi and cafe/bar. This is a non-smoking and pet-free apartment. Outside: Spacious ground floor terrace area equipped with sun loungers, large patio table and chairs & sun umbrella and BBQ. First floor patio area equipped with a large lazy chair.
