Guestbook comments from the owner

Hi Alicia

I just wanted to send you a quick email to thank you very much for our stay at your cottage. We had such a lovely time and we cant wait to come back ...if that's ok with you!!

The house was absolutely perfect and my dogs loved that the living room was upstairs (they aren't allowed upstairs at home!) There was everything we could wish for in the house and my bed was so comfy!

Selsey was perfect even in the blustery weather.

We shall definitely be back again. Absolutely perfect. Thank you so much!

Very characterful property and very well maintained and appointed. Lots of extra, thoughtful touches such as homemade cake on arrival. Good heating and lovely comfortable beds - we were all very impressed with the standard of the property overall.

Spacious and unique home

  • 5 of 5

The property has plenty of room (there were 6 adults in our party). The quirky property is decorated beautifully and the owners have thought of everything to make a stay here so comfortable and welcoming. The sea is so close and peaceful for a walk. Although the property is spacious, the great heating and lovely decor mean it is also cosy. The large tables upstairs and down are great areas to just be together. Thank you for a great family break.

Beautiful characterful ‘cottage’

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was truly beautiful. A little gem - wonderfully designed and styled, with everything you could need. I hadn’t heard of these old railway carriage conversions before. The area has many to look at - all really interesting. This one, comprising two carriages linked by a large sitting/dining room, was beautifully restored. The bedrooms and kitchen were in the carriages - with the original doors! All the beds were very comfy, with each room styled in a seaside/country theme. All very tasteful. The whole design was stylish and comfortable. Upstairs a large light airy sitting room with a view of the sea was fab. Also had 3 comfy sofas. Having said that it’s a shame that there were other, most unattractive houses between Seagulls and the sea. How on earth did they get planning permission?? The two bathrooms were most welcome with 7 adults, though three of the bedrooms also have basins. The kitchen was small but very well equipped and very easy to work in. The garden was v nice and secure for the dog. The sea is about a minute away, with a lovely shingle beach. Fab walks in both directions direct from the cottage. All in all a real gem of a place and much credit to the owners, who obviously have really good taste! Many thanks

Comfortable & quirky! Kids & adults loved it.

The way the space was organised was very good making most of the views from the main living area. More storage would be good i.e cupboard space. Overall nice.
