Amazing homely barn.

We are so lucky we found this amazing barn through an Internet search. We could not fault anything, it's is so well equipped. There is a lovely wood burner and the owners supplied us with endless wood to burn. To have a very English country pub that served lovely food at very reasonable prices was the icing on the cake for my husband (it's is about a two minute work from the barn). The beds/pillows were so comfortable (very rare in properties we have booked in the past). The situation for places like Skipton, Grassington and the Dales is excellant.

We loved it so much, that we have booked it for next October half term.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in.

This cottage had everything you want in a holiday let. It was exactly as described and very spacious. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who had thoughtfully provided milk,tea and coffee. It was very pleasing to find soft fluffy towels, soap and toilet rolls in all 3 bathrooms.

There was lots of information relating to the area. The village has a lot of history and it was really good to have a book with all the interesting facts about the buildings.

The local pub was very good on both our visits. Although there are no shops in the village there are plenty within a short distance.

By chance we found the Keelham farm shop/café, this was excellent and should be advertised.

We enjoyed The Cake `Ole café in Skipton and the Old Barn café at Malham Cove. The Terrace tea rooms in Skipton were disappointing, especially the toilets with broken toilet roll holder and in need of decorating.

I would certainly recommend this property to other people.

At first we thought the barn was two holiday properties. We were amazed when we realised had it all.

We had a wonderful time at Beckside Barn. The facilities were first class, lovely, garden and terrace area all available for our use. Secure parking inside the barn's grounds. Beautiful views and walks for all abilities on the Pennine Way which borders the barn. I would highly recommend Beckside Barn.

Excellent property in every respect

Beckside Barn was one of the best properties that we have rented. No expense has been spared with this cottage. It is very well equipped a spotlessly clean. Very handy to have the owners nearby, in case of any questions, although you are unlikely to have any! Good to be able to park easily and securely and to have access to a very fine garden. I would recommend it highly to anyone looking to explore Yorkshire and spend a week or two in a typical Yorkshire village. If you stay there....and many do.... support the local pub....the food is excellent.

Highly recommended

A very enjoyable stay in a modern, spotlessly clean and spacious barn conversion. It was very well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, crockery and condiments. There was also plenty of information of places to visit and local walks. There is also a lovely private garden to enjoy sunny days. The hosts Susan and Keith were on hand when needed and always pleasant and helpful.

The local pub nearby The Hare and Hounds combines the English traditional pub atmosphere with excellent reasonably priced bar meals.

Relaxing Break

We found the property to be exactly as listed and in a very clean and good condition, the instructions for finding the property were very good and clear and the owners were on hand to deal with any problems we may have had to which there were none, a highly recommendable stay in a very peaceful location with some stunning walks within easy reach of the property
