Apartment in Protaras, Cavo Greko, Ayia Napa, Cyprus - Quiet Location, Lovely Views, Free Internet, and a 5 Minute Walk to Local Beaches And Tavernas.

Recently refurbished and now with Free internet Wifi (own modem and not a shared system) , this superb 2 bedroom apartment is situated in a small complex of only 12 apartments and villas. Ideally situated on the first floor (there is only the ground and first floor). The patio enjoys lovely views of the Sea and Hills, and is ideal for chilling out with a glass of wine. The communal swimming pool which includes full changing and shower facilities is only 40m from the apartment. A cycle path from Protaras to Agia Napa conveniently runs alongside the complex, and on a stroll towards Protaras you will easily reach the first tavernas within 3 or 4 minutes. A very pleasant safe and well lit walk at night. A further 12 to 15 minutes stroll will take you into the hustle and bustle of Protaras with its many bars and restaurants. The local bus service into Protaras and Agia Napa stops about a 2 minute walk from the apartment. Overall, a superb apartment with private parking, in a great location and only a 5 min walk to the nearest beach!

About Brian Soutar

My wife Alison and I are originally from Scotland, and purchased our apartment in Dec 2008. We have enjoyed creating and landscaping our garden which surrounds the apartment. With care we have furnished the apartment to our taste with a great "home from home" feel. As we both enjoy preparing meals we have probably every utensil possible to make this fun and easy. We have enjoyed many evening with a a glass of wine and good food with our friends at the apartment and our new Gas BBQ has been great fun.

We have received fantastic comments from all our guests in the last few years and our Visitors Book feedback is a testimony to the excellent holidays our guests have enjoyed in Cypus and in our apartment.

Notes on accommodation: Full air conditioning in the bedrooms and lounge. Convection Heaters are also provided for the colder nights for our winter guests. The apartment is situated on the first floor but as there is no lift it would not be suitable for wheelchair access. The apartment is however ideally situated on a very level location with very easy access to our communal pool (only a 15 seconds walk from the front door. The apartment also has off road private parking. Outside: The apartment balcony features a table and chairs and enjoys both hill and sea views. With it's south facing position, the apartment enjoys full sunshine for the greater part of the day, but is shaded in the evening making it ideal for relaxing late afternoon with a long cool drink or perhaps a nice glass of wine after your hot day in the sun! If your are looking for some winter sunshine and please remember that temperatures can easily reach 70 degrees even in January and February this apartment is ideal. The balcony enjoys all day sunshine throughout the winter months and relaxing outside in a January morning with a coffee or tea or some breakfast just has to be better than the sleet and rain at home. (we can also offer longer stay special winter rates) Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Apartment will be fully cleaned and in immaculate condition ready for your arrival. All towels and linen supplied on your arrival. An iron and ironing board is also available. Beach towels also supplied.

Hard to find, was confused with number on wall as that is all we could see as it was dark we was looking for number B 08 and on the wall it says 104 as we discovered after making a phone call .Apart from that very small issue we had a lovely holiday and apartment was very nice and had everything you needed right down to beach towels will deffinatly stay again thank you

The confusion you experienced on arrival I'm sorry to say would probably have been fully prevented if you had fully read the email with PDF attachment I sent you. This very clearly explained about the 2 different numbers and provided very detailed and easy travel directions to the apartment and access information. Many previous guest have remarked on how easy it actually was to find the apartment and to gain access. Really enjoyable stay.

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful apartment. Everything you could need was supplied eg beach towels and hairdryer. Location was great for supermarket, ATMS and a choice of restaurants. Nearest beach only 5 minutes walk. Protaras "strip" only 20 minutes walk but this is quite a way in the heat! But there are regular buses. Ayia Napa 20 minutes away on the bus which is easy to use and cost €1.50. Brian was really helpful when required and easily contactable. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

You are only 5 minutes walk to nearest beach which tends to be quiet during the week and busier at the weekends. The local beaches have loungers and sun umbrellas for hire. Restaurants, a supermarket and a few tavernas are within 1 minute walk. Water sports are also available. Excellent for swimming and Snorkeling with absolutely stunning visibility. Plenty of reefs and aquatic life to see and enjoy.


Nearest airport Larnaca. Car hire is not essential due to the excellent location of the apartment. Local taxis can be expensive and I would suggest car hire or using out transfer facility The Apartment is located approximately 40 minutes drive from Larnaca airport and 2 hours drive from Paphos airport. The roads are excellent with motorway most of the way to the apartment.

Airport transfers are provided on request and considerably cheaper than local taxis.


The nearest town is Protaras which is a leisurly 15 to 20 minute walk from the apartment. Nearest beaches are only a 5 minutes walk away. Buses stop for Protaras and Agia Napa and less than minute walk. 2 small supermarkets are within 100m, and a new Lidl store has just been opened closeby.

An excellent Airport Transfer service is now available for guests with significant savings on Local Taxi Fares..Enquiries please!

Further Details:

The nearby town of Protaras has everything you could possibly need including Themed Bars with cabaret shows, Italian, Indian and Chinese restaurants, tavernas, banks and an abundance of shops. A new Lidl store has just opened a few minutes away in ther car. Trips to these local large supermarkets can also be easily arranged and day trips to the North of the Island are possible, even at short notice! For these who enjoy walking or rambling, our apartment is very cose to the E4 European long distance walkway which runs across the full width of Cyprus. During the months of January through to the end of April, the climate is absolutely ideal for this, the countryside lush and green and the walks are superb!

We have 2 cars available at excellent rates for our guests. Peugeot 207 1.4L or Astra 1.4L. Both are 5 door with A/c and manual gear change. Also new for 2015 we now have a 2 seater Ford Cabriolet...Fantastic Fun....blow your hair back!
