Apartment in Arroyo Del La Miel, Benalmadena, Costa del Sol - Shared Pool open between 1st June each year until end of October

Well respected and beautifully maintained apartment, a short drive from Malaga airport and 10 mins walk to beach. The charming village of Arroyo is only 10 mins walk away and here you will find all types of shops, bars and restaurants as well as Tivoli World theme park. Great Friday market and beautiful Paloma Park. A large choice of activities to suit all.

About Ann Lisle

A little bit about me!

My late husband and I bought this apartment in 1997, after previously selling a smaller one in the same area. We and our family loved the area so much we spent our holidays there for nearly 30 years. However I lost my husband some years ago and due to ill health cannot travel as much as I would like to.

I have this beautiful second home, it is a shame for it not be used, so I was recommended to holiday let it, and let more people have all the benefits of sunny Spain.

Spent our second Holliday there and have to say we love it , appartment well laid out very comfortable all round , lovely terrace very private with sun nearly all day , in great spot for coast or arroyo de la miel , loads of great pubs and resturants , lovely tapas bars dotted around couldn't recomend enough , also markets on Wednesday at Paloma park this park is great for children as the rabbits hens birds etc run free , Friday big market at arroyo de la miel next to train station , also train is perfect for trips to malaga or fuengarolla always on time and very cheap to use all in all its a great position to be in

Notes on accommodation: There is a 32" LCD Television with new internet british channels.now available and FREE wifi INTERNET access Outside: As the apartment is on the 3rd floor. (no lift) it has 2 terraces. Main terrace and a roof terrace accessed by a spiral staircase. which has spectacular views to the mountains and looks out over the Mediterranean, plus the swimming pool and gardens. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels provided. Beach towels not provided. Apartment cleaned on changeover only so you have complete privacy during your holiday. Other: front entrance of apartment accessed by security gate with intercom. gardens and pool are accessed by gate & key to make sure that pool area is kept private.

Perfect holiday!

We have enjoyed a wonderful holiday staying in Ann's beautiful apartment. The location is perfect, everywhere we wanted to visit was within walking distance, the beach, Selwo Marina, the cable car ride at Tivoli, beautiful Paloma park and the many shops and restaurants! The complex is immaculate and the pool set in the lovely gardens is great. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed, we will definitely return. Thank you Ann!

Relaxing break. Fab location near bars & restaurants. Lovely terraces. Easy parking

We had a lovely relaxing break. The apartment was a great base for us. We hired a car and the location was within 15 minutes of the airport. Easy parking directly outside. Ideal location near restaurants and bars and within walking distance of beach.

An absolute gem of an apartment - everything you need within walking distance

We have booked through Owners Direct for the last 12 years - and this is one of the best apartments we have stayed in. The apartment has everything you could need - including 2 shopping trolleys and a PVC apron! The outside space is wonderful - we loved eating breakfast outside in the mornings. The terrace overlooks the pool so we could keep an eye on our girls. We had to accommodate our sleep-loving teenager and our energetic 9 year old - so the pool meant the 9 year old could play in the pool and her sister could sleep in, in the mornings. We got the train from Malaga airport and it was an easy walk downhill to the apartment. We got around Aroyo de Miel and Benalmadena on foot - we mostly ate in Arroya de Miel in the evenings and it was very good value. We went to Malaga twice on the train to visit museums and the Alcazabar, and we took the train to Fuengirola to visit the Bioparc - a really lovely small zoo about 10 minutes walk from the train station. We were pleasantly surprised at how most of the holiday makers in Arroya were Spanish - there were more sports bars and English Cafe's in the area north of the marina. We would love to come back in 2019 and do some more exploring. We would highly recommend this apartment to families looking for a bit of everything - pool, beach, restaurants and a great base for exploring the Costa del Sol.

Lovely apartment in the perfect location

Great week spent in the apartment which had everything we could possibly want. With 2 beautiful terraces big enough to eat and relax. The swimming pool has been recently renovated and was a pleasant surprise. Very easy to access from Malaga Airport by train and a short walk downhill to the apartment. Looking forward to my next stay.

Fantastic Holiday!

Ann's apartment was perfect for us. It was in a super location and had everything that we needed. It was so homely and it really felt that we were staying in a home rather than a holiday let. The terrace was excellent with a lovely view of the pool. Also everything was spotlessly clean , just like in the photographs. It was great for my children having the wifi and English tv channels. I would absolutely recommend this apartment. Thanks very much Ann for letting us stay.

Wonderful Holiday

Our first visit but not our last. Can't fault this apartment no wonder all guest's give 5 stars including myself. what can I say that has not already been said. Just situated in a perfect position for all locations. Looking forward to returning in October. Thank you Anne/Doris for a lovely stay.

Location

Coast/Beach:

The closest beach in Benalmadena is only 10 mins walk away from the apartment. All beaches of Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Fuengirola are clean, safe and well kept. Water sports & Sun bed hire available. A number of beachside restaurants serving all types of food we speciality fish and seafood. Also has a beautiful promenade you can walk for miles.

Travel:

Malaga airport is 10-15 mins drive away, about 25-30 euros in a taxi.

Train direct from airport into Benalmadena/Arroyo de la Meil with a short walk down to apartment and is only about 2 euros.

Distances:

The town of Arroyo de la Meil is only a few mins walk away with a good array of shops, bars and restaurants. Benalmadena Pueblo is a short drive or bus journey. a typical Andalucian white-washing village. Torremolions and Fuengirola are only a few stops on the train. Benalmadena/Arroyo station is 10 mins walk with connection to Malaga town centre and the airport. Organised coach trips to Seville, Granada, Gibralter, Mijas, Ronda.

Further Details:

Benalmadena Costa has excellent bars, night clubs and nice restaurants.

Paloma Park is within walking distance and is beautiful to stroll around, there is a large lake with all kinds of wildlife to see.

Sealife centre is home to sea lions and selwo dolphins who perform there daily. this is a must.

Fishing trips are available from the Marina and the port of Fuengirola and their are also daily boat trips from the marina.
