Wonderful highland family adventure
The Cottage and location far exceeded our expectations. Our time at Brachkashie was just perfect for what our family wanted from our holiday. A mixture of relaxation, long walks and messing about on the loch. Then on the days that we managed to drag ourselves away from the cottage, it was the perfect base to explore what the highlands had to offer. We would certainly come back and stay again. Thanks Catherine and George for helping when needed. Best regards Colin, Nicky & Boys

A piece of paradise in a loch
Tranquil cottage right on a loch. Simply breathtaking beauty as you open the door. Brachkashie cottage is so welcoming. The beds are comfortable with the loveliest soft sheets and thick feather duvets. There are even sheepskin rugs for when you get out of bed, stylish hot water bottles for cold nights and a wonderful fireplace with wood supplied. Bathrooms include a bath and shower - which worked well for our family as some like to relax in a bath while others prefer to shower. The jetty onto the loch was a very special feature and my family enjoyed rowing the little boat to the island. Absolute heaven .

Excellent property, location was amazing
As a family living in London we've been to many rental cottages over the years and this is by far the best. The location is amazing, the house was fully equipped and the owners were available immediately for help. We had the best family New Year ever - the boat trip up Loch Ness was a dream.

A Small Piece of Paradise In The Highlands!
We had a wonderful stay at Brachkashie. The cottage and setting are absolutely stunning and the location towards the southern end of Loch Ness provides the perfect base to explore the Highlands. There was so much to do as a family, fantastic walks, fishing, boating and sightseeing. Thank you for a memorable stay, we hope and look forward to returning one day soon.

We are a family of four living in East Lothian, Scotland. George is a property agent with his own business based in Edinburgh. Catherine is an Interior Designer and runs her own business too! We have two daughters, Ella and Rosie. The Highlands are an essential escape for us all.

Why they chose this property

Although George was brought up in Dorset, his mother's family used to own the Knockie Estate and many holidays were spent at Brachkashie, enjoying the loch, the little islands, and brown trout fishing from the boat. Picnics, walking and fresh Highland air was the essence to our Scottish holidays.

What makes this property unique

Unique location overlooking Loch Knockie with an abundance or wildlife to enjoy.
Full use of a large rowing boat and canoe for Loch Knockie.
Beautifully furnished cottage which has been renovated to a high standard.
Unique benefits of Brachkashie Cottage is undoubtedly its setting overlooking Loch Knockie.
