The apartment is located in central Morzine, minutes walk to all the local amenities and ski lifts which access the massive Porte du Soleil area, with beautiful views of the Point de Nyon - great for watching the fireworks and torch-lit decent on Pleney. The apartment (34m2) comprises an open plan living area with kitchen, access to small balcony with table and chairs, a lovely double bedroom with wardrobe, a second bedroom with bunk beds, a bright and fresh bathroom with high pressure, thermostatically controlled shower over bath with endless hot water – great for soothing the days skiing/biking away. Separate WC. Fully equipped to cater for the independent holidaymaker with all mod-cons. including: WIFI, flat screen TV with USB port (plays movies from your USB storage device), DVD player, Bose iPod dock, secure ski/board storage and off street parking to front and rear of property. An ideal base for summer or winter holidays.

About the Owner

We are a mountain-mad couple who bought the apartment in 2010 and stayed in it for the whole season 2010-11 while renovating it to be a bright, cosy and practical space. Initially we used it with friends who enjoyed making the most of the apartment’s proximity to town as we crawled home post Apri Ski, but now we take our two young boys who are just starting to get into mountain life and enjoy the novelty of sharing the bunk room.

Fab Apartment, Owner and Location

I was compelled to write this review after staying at this brilliant apartment in Morzine - particularly after Charlotte (very nice lady, knowledgable and helpful on the phone) was thankful for my offline feedback about our fab stay as it seems there is one review which seems completely off the mark (one star????)

Anyway, onto our stay - me, my wife and two kids; 13 and 17.

The apartment is on the ground floor - which was brilliant as we had a load of heavy bags for a week skiing - the flat is small but perfectly formed with everything you need for self catering and bright and airy due to the double aspect windows which give you a great view of the Pleney slope (which is only a 3 or 4 minute walk down the road). There was also a very welcome bottle of wine waiting for us - thanks :)

The kitchen is brilliant - we cooked a Christmas lunch in there with ease - four ring hob and full sized oven at a sensible height, microwave, and a ton of utensils....I could go on, but it certainly so much more than I'm used to in a ski apartment (I.e two rings and a microwave).

The sofa was comfy and the setup of the table and TV meant kids were happy watching TV (my son hooked up a USB drive to the TV so he and my daughter could argue about which of their favourite shows to watch) while my wife and I played cards at the table and drank wine in the evening. WiFi was good too when one or other of us lost interest in TV or games.

If you want to sit out on the balcony, it is a little snug (only two of us would have been able to sit out there), not an issue for us as we didnt want to use it.

Overall - a real gem of an apartment at a great price, especially considering it's great location. Will certainly be returning!

Wonderful Morzine

This was our 3rd visit to this apartment and have just booked for June again. Booking was easy and owner was very helpful with any queries. We found the location is perfect for all amenities yet it has wonderful views and easy parking. The excellent apartment is clean and comfortable with a kitchen that has everything you need, including a full oven, a 4 ring hob and even a dishwasher. Actually, we mainly ate in restaurants just a short walk down the road. Talking of walking, this is a fabulous place for walks and plenty of ski lifts so you don’t have to do the uphill slog. Also, there are indoor and outdoor swimming pools in Morzine. Cannot recommend this apartment enough and can’t wait to return.

half term skiing

A good location but disappointed with the apartment as bedrooms very small and little space to put clothes etc. Kitchen could be better equipped. I would not recommend this apartment for a family of 5 because of lack of space and was quite noisy at night with traffic and people walking back from the town.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry you were not happy with your stay. As with most French Ski Apartments the flat is compact and this is reflected in the description with the sq metres being listed as the first thing about the apartment under property description. The pictures and reasonable price also reflect this. I'm am a little perplexed that you say the kitchen is ill equipped as we fitted it out with full oven, four ring hob and dishwasher and which is rare for similar properties, but I will follow up with our agent to check that they have been replacing broken plates etc. Morzine is a lively town with great apriski and the flats great location close to town does occasionally mean that you may hear merry holiday makers or seasonares. One of the advantages of booking though ownersdirect is the ability to talk directly to the owner and find out if the property is suitable for your needs. We have had many familys and groups who have had done this, have had a great time and returned to stay again.

Simply great

The apartment was amazing value and in a fantastic location. Just a four-minute walk to Pleney lift and about a ten minute walk to Super Morzine's lift. Very clean and of great quality! There were 5 of us (all 20/21 years olds) and we found there was enough space. Staff at Immobiliser are very friendly too.

Wish I was still there! Would definitely go back!

We looked at loads of appartments when planning to buy in Morzine but this ones town centre location was what really drew us to it. The walk home from the slope in ski boots is never fun but luckily it's only about 5 min in ski boots from both super morzine and le pleney.

Special interest holidays:

Summer in Morzine is delightful with many outdoor activities available, including; biking, walking, kayaking, horse riding. Swimming is available in Lac Mondriond or the indoor and outdoor pools in Morzine center.

MULTI-PASS: The apartment is part of the Multi-Pass scheme which offers you access to chair lifts, cablecars, swimming pools, tennis courts, museum and heritage sites for only €1 per person per day during the summer season


Biking - both road and mountain biking are extremely popular in the region. The nearby lifts take bikes up the mountains if you're brave enough for the ride down. The Tour de France route passes through every few years too.

The mountains change into beautiful meadows in the summer; perfect for walking, picnics and nature spotting.


Geneva airport 1 hour (regular transfers available). Chambery 1.5hrs. Grenoble airport 2 hrs. Lyon airport 2 hrs. Turin airport 2.5hrs. Bern airport 2.5hrs.

By Car; 8 hours to Calais - making it one of the most accessible resorts to drive to.


Les Gets is only 3 miles away. Lake Geneva 1 hour, Annecy 45 mins. Evian 1 hour. Chamonix & Mont Blanc 45 mins.

Further Details:

Morzine has an abundance of restaurants and bars to suit everyone. There is lively après ski with some bars playing live music during the season and a couple of clubs. Activities for all the family run most evenings including the weekly torch lit decent and fireworks (which can be seen from the living room of the apartment if you’re just too tired to go out), ice hockey games, and two town centre cinemas. There are also a number of supermarkets and numerous shops catering for any of your needs and DVDs available to rent at the Carrefour supermarket in town.
