About Mrs Patricia Taylor

We are Phil & Trish Taylor. We live near Axminster in East Devon. We have been running Summerleaze Cottage as a holiday home since 2006 and live next door, being on hand to answer any queries and offer advice. We have Hooter House in East Portlemouth South Devon, also available to rent.

Why Mrs Patricia Taylor chose Axminster

We love East Devon for the beautiful countryside, nearby beaches, the peace and quiet and the ease of being able to reach major towns and cities.

Weekend break

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was peaceful, cosy and well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. The welcome gift of wine, flowers, milk and biscuits was much appreciated. The only thing which would have improved our experience is another lamp in the lounge to make it easier to read in the evenings.

Quiet, cosy, dog-friendly cottage

  • 4 of 5

Lovely cosy cottage in quiet location. Dogs made very welcome. Lovely extras including wine, flowers and biscuits. Owners Trish and Phil available if needed but very discreet, despite being just next door.

Was a perfect base for us to visit our friends in Bridport.
