Guestbook comments from the owner

A GLORIOUS WEEK!

If you are reading this you already know that you have chosen an amazing place. We felt relaxed the moment we walk in. The space (yet still warm) is huge+ well designed. Our son loved feeding his fish ( he name them all) and we happily (?..) off looking out on the terrace or swimming in the pool. Should you need to leave this paradise, it will be to get food (?..) to that end, the best info I can write in this book is what I wone. PTO.

A TRUELY MEMORABLE 2 weeks in the wonderfull home. Could have stayed months just looking around the house and at all the lovely art books.

Was very difficult to tear ourself away from here but did a few times.Made it in Sarlat "Beautiful"!.Good canoeing from Riberac camping.Hired bikes a couple of times.Excellant host in " Le Petit Thai" & le Lavoir in Siorac is not bad.Aubeterre in Charente- Beautiful village. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here + Bruno+ family made us so welcome. The Fairdough 4. August 2011.

Notes:
Outside: Unfortunatly, the 25 m swimming pool is out of order this year. It is fenced and gated with childproof locks to guard against accidents. There is a fish tank with lotus and water lilies and pretty Japanese carp which will claim their food.. They need to be fed one time a day.Thank you!! Then Enjoy meals together on the terrace in the shade of the wisteria at lunchtime or under the walnut tree. Relax by the poolside or enjoy a dip in the pool and benefits from the 2 wooden pool side, complete with loungers and chairs, plus parasols to protect you from the sun, take the best spot in the wooden Sala. but don’t forget to put the sun cream. great fun for all the family! Utility Room: washing machine Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. Towels 2 set per room. Linen 1 set per room per week. Other: Beautiful wood deck around the 25 m swimming pool.

Fantastic, quirky house in relaxing rural location.

Perfect place to spend a relaxing week by the pool, enjoying great local food & wine and visiting beautiful towns in the region. The house is unique, architecturally fascinating and filled with a large, eclectic collection of art. Bonkers but brilliant.
