Apartment in Conil de la Frontera, Costa de la Luz, Spain - A Short Walk To Shops, Bars, Restaurants, The Park And The Beach

Suitable for families and couples, this light, modern apartment is ideally situated close to the heart of Conil de la Frontera and is only 5 minutes walk from the beach. The secure underground parking space is accessible with a key fob remote and all floors, including parking levels can be accessed by the lift. The apartment building has been built to a high standard and is designed to make full use of natural light throughout. The apartment has three comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, a modern kitchen and an open plan sitting/dining room on the lower floor leading to a small balcony. If you fancy a break from the beach, on the upper floor is a large private 50m2 roof terrace, not overlooked, which is a great place to unwind and enjoy a drink, sunbathe, read, dine or just hang out. If it wasn't for the great places to visit in the surrounding area, it's very tempting to leave the car in the garage and spend all the time between the beach, the town and the apartment.

About Tom Bell

I live in England with my family, but visit Conil de la Frontera with my family and friends as often as I can. I have great affection for Conil and its people and it feels like a second home to us. We love the Spanish way of life, the sun, the food and the beach and we’ll continue to come to Conil as much as we can. There's still loads of restaurants and bars left to try and I'll never get tired of the amazing beach.

When I’m back in England, I manage the rentals with the help of a local company a couple of blocks away from the apartment who are very efficient, helpful and well known within Conil.

Why Tom Bell chose Costa de la Luz - Cadiz

Travelling through Latin America and Spain, I’d always dreamed of buying a place on the coast in Spain. We’d always enjoyed holidays in Andalucia, so in 2004, after a lot of research, I set off along the South coast of Spain to look for a suitable location. I knew Conil de la Frontera was the place as soon as I came over the hill and I could see the white town and beach spreading out below. It had everything I was looking for: easy to get to, right by the sea, sunshine, a very Spanish atmosphere, a beautiful historic centre, an amazing beach, loads to do, lovely people, fantastic bars and restaurants and not overrun by foreign tourists.

I also love the area, Cadiz, Jerez and Seville and it's so easy to get onto the motorway just a few minutes away over the hill.

What makes this apartment unique

I never get bored in Conil. The thing I love about the position of the apartment is that it’s so close to the beach and the old quarter. It’s also modern and light and everything you need (to buy, eat or drink) can be found within a few blocks, so you only need the car if you go on a trip. I especially love the roof terrace. It’s unusual to find so much space, not overlooked, so close to the centre of town and I can spend hours eating, drinking and playing with the family up ‘above the world’.

Apart from that, I love the magnificent sandy beach which goes on for miles and miles and is fantastic for adults and children. Body boarding and surfing is great but there's golf and all sorts of other things to do too in and around Conil. I could go on for ages but I'm running out of space .....

Notes:
Outside: The stairs in the apartment lead to a 50 m² private roof terrace overlooking the town and with oblique views to the sea. It's not overlooked and is a great space to enjoy a long leisurely meal, sunbathe, read, play with the children or just relax in the evening with a glass of wine or cold beer. That is when you’re not at the beach, strolling around town or visiting the wealth of attractions nearby! There's a sturdy outdoor table and chairs, seating six for alfresco dining, as well as four sun loungers and two sun chairs. There's also a small terrace on the main accommodation floor, through the sitting room, with a small table and chairs for two. Utility Room: There is a washine machine, iron and ironing board in the utility room which is on the upper floor. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided and the property is cleaned at the end of the rental period. Additional cleaning and changes of linen can be arranged at additional cost.

Fabulous holiday

We had a wonderful week in Conil,7 days of sunshine spent making the most of all the fabulous food & drink on offer in this lovely traditional area of Spain.The apartment was perfectly located with plenty of bars & shops on the doorstep & was a short walk from many more bars,restaurants & the beach. The apartment itself is lovely,& felt like a home rather than holiday accommodation. We definitely hope to be able to come & stay here again!

Location, location and...what was the other thing?

We've stayed in rented accommodation in Conil on a number of occasions over the past few years but this was by far the best. It really is difficult to fault the location: near enough to Conil's fast-developing nightlife but tucked away on a fairly quiet side-street. The beach is an easy stroll away but supermarkets big and small - as well as the impressive meat and fish market - are on the doorstep. Having a private garage is a great bonus - parking in Conil in high season can be distinctly tricky - but that's where our car stayed for the whole week; everything could be reached on foot. And should you ever tire of the beach, the shops, the bars and restaurants there's always the peaceful haven of the private rooftop terrace. Wonderful.

Fantastic holiday

Excellent & quick booking procedure with Tom, the owner. He provided us with lots of useful information. The appartment was exactly as described, clean, modern & well equipped. Added bonuses of secure parking (especially in Conil's narrow streets) & the private roof terrace where we relaxed in the sun most afternoons. Central location to all the restaurants & bars & where we could wander in a relaxed & safe atmosphere. The nearby beach is within a 10 minute walk from the appartment & from there you can walk for miles to other beaches on the coast. Conil is a typical spanish resort & comparatively cheaper than the UK. We really enjoyed our holiday there.

The deposit is fully refundable and will be returned within 7 days of departure provided that there is no damage to the property.

Changeover Day:
Changeover is Saturday during July and August but can be flexible outside these months. Arrival time is by arrangement between 16:00 and 20:00. Arrival outside these times is possible by arrangement and keys will need to be retrieved from a safety deposit box. Instructions will be provided. Check out time on the day of departure is 11:00am. There may be a charge for late departures.

Notes on prices:
We accept bank transfers in £Sterling in the UK or Euro bank transfers to our Spanish account at the current Euro equivalent rate.
Cancellations that are made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty.
Cancellations made between 60 and 28 days before arrival date will result in a forfeit of the booking fee.
Cancellation made between 27 and 15 days prior to arrival will result in a 50% refund.
There is no refund for cancellations less than 15 days prior to arrival.
