The Townhouse is located in Vila Dos Principes, the only private gated condominium in Praia Del Rey Golf and Country Club. The Townhouse is only a few minutes walk to the golf clubhouse, 1st tee, driving range and practice area within the resort. Praia Del Rey has a 5 Star Marriott Hotel with an impressive health spa. Other activities within Praia Del Rey include a tennis academy, football pitches, cycling, quad biking, and surfing. In addition, Club Aventura which has a games room, provides a supervised range of sporting activities for all ages during peak season such as horse riding, kayaking, sailing, diving, snorkeling, and Go-Karting. The Beach at Praia Del Rey, 10 minutes away, has stunning views and is ideal for sunbathing and walks. The beach at Baleal, world renowned for its excellent surfing, and the medieval town of Obidos are both a 15 minute drive away. The house has a sunny aspect and is light and spacious. The terrace has a dining area with a BBQ.

Special interest holidays:

Fatima is a 1 hour drive from the Townhouse. In addition, there are a number of Knights Templar Castles, such as Tomar and Almoural Castle 1 hour drive. The surrounding area has many interesting sites and attractions such as caves, dinosaur skeletons and footprints. There are also many vineyards in the area.

Coast/Beach:

There are many beaches in the region one of which is located within the Praia Del Rey resort itself. Local beaches include, Baleal, Peniche, and Super Tubos all 15 mins drive from the townhouse.

Travel:

Praia Del Rey is an easy 1 hour drive (A8 Motorway) from Lisbon Airport and approximately 2.5 hours from Porto Airport. Car hire is essential.

Distances:

Medieval walled town of Obidos is a 15 minute drive away. Other nearby towns are Caldas Da Rainha, approximately 20 mins by car, for shopping, restaurants, and cinema, and the fishing village of Peniche with its many restaurants is 15 mins drive away.

Further Details:

There is a 5 Star Marriott Hotel (providing bars, restaurants and health spa), a convenience store and an ATM at the resort. The golf clubhouse (2 mins. walk) offers both informal and formal dining throughout the day, indoors or on the terrace, with panoramic views of the golf course and sea. There are many reasonably priced restaurants which serve excellent local and international cuisine, supermarkets, banks, markets, shops and places of interest in the surrounding areas, towns and villages. (5 to 30 mins drive).

The townhouse shall be cleaned once per week during your stay and is included. In addition, bed linen and towels shall be changed once per week during your stay and is also fully inclusive. Extra cleaning and / or linen / towel changes may be arranged at the time of booking. Outside: The townhouse is located amongst beautifully maintained gardens and 3 private swimming pools. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen and towels are provided with the exception of beach / pool towels which you will need to provide yourself. Other: The property benefits from a wonderful area to dine outside, a built in BBQ, and large garden for sunbathing adjacent to one of the three pools within the private condominium.
