“Perfect for a family vacation!” 3 Jan 2011.

We stayed for a month and despite disappointing weather loved the town and our apartment so much that we returned in the fall with our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. We had 2 adjoining units both with fabulous views of the Mediterranean. The beach was just steps away and the charming center of historic Nerja was within easy walking distance. This is the best of the Costa del Sol!

The apartment was really comfortable and spacious with a great, large balcony overlooking the garden and the beach/sea, perfect for watching the sun set over the sea after a day on the beach. The staff were very sweet and helpful and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Torrecilla is a fab location with shops, walks and great restaurants all on the doorstep... One of the best holidays we have ever had!

Fantastic Anniversary

I chose this facility as a surprise 35th Wedding Anniversary surprise for my wife. I was not disappointed, the Apartment was ideal for our needs, it was perfectly located, clean and the staff very helpful.

Looking out from the balcony over the perfectly kept gardens, to the see could not have been any more suitable, my wife loved it.

The short walk to shops, bars, restaurants and mini-markets meant that whatever your needs, it was there.

I would recommend Apartmentos Torricilla Playa to others, and in fact already have. We intend to return again and again and again.

Lovely month in Nerja

We drove down to Playa Torrecilla with our dog, spent the whole of March at this apartment, and really couldn't have been happier with it. All the apartments look out onto the pretty garden then straight to the beach and the sea. It's all well maintained, with secure parking too. The apartment was clean and pretty well equipped, the furnishings were simple but perfectly adequate. We didn't find the seating all that comfy, and the TV was very basic, but neither really detracted from our stay. We slept like logs, it was so relaxing there! We had everything we needed by way of shops, bars, restaurants, vets(!) in easy walking distance, and wouldn't have needed the car really except it made exploring along the coast and up into the mountains easier with the dog. The laundry facility was a boon for our length of stay, and nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff. We loved it and would certainly recommend it to anyone. A great spot for a very reasonable price.

Location, location

This apartment is in a superb location adjacent to a small beach and a newly built promenade. The garden area to the apartments is ample size, well tended and carefully planned and the restaurant just outside the garden gate serves good food throughout the day. The apartment interior is simple but spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. Kitchen equipment is sufficient for the number of people and as the local cafes/restaurants serve well priced food and are friendly we opted to make the most of these. The people who run the apartments are also friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again.

Our prime position means you feel like you are away from the main town, while having it all on the doorstep, from beach, to good food and drink, shopping and lovely walks.

We have direct access to Torrecilla Beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag several years. It has a couple of restaurants on it and it is very safe, with lounger and sunshade rental facilities. Nerja has many other picturesque beaches within walking distance from apartment.

Malaga Airport is 70Km away, about 45 minutes drive. There are taxis and bus services, also car rental facilities, both at the airport and in Nerja. Once in Nerja, no need for car unless many day trips are planned.


Frigiliana is a white village 7km away, a must see. The Cuevas de Nerja are one of the most visited attractions in Spain, with incredible underground formations. Granada is one of Spains most beautiful cities with its Alhambra, and it is 90km away. Ronda, Cordoba and Seville are also beautiful places to visit if you have a longer holiday. Nerja is also next to a Natural Park, with beautiful walks and excursions into the mountains.

Further Details:

A great variety of restaurants and shops are at our doorstep, and we are only 5 minute walk to the Balcon de Europa. We also have a large square next to our building with lovely terraces with cafeterias and restaurants and a beach pedestrian promenade, linking us with the next beach. There is a local bus stop right outside our building, which will take you to any part of Nerja, like the Sunday flee market or larger supermarkets if you do not want to walk.

Please get in touch with us via email to reserve. We hold apartment and confirm the reservation when we receive a deposit of around 120 euros, non refundable. This can be done via bank transfer, postal order or Paypal, as we do not have credit card facilities onsite.

Changeover Day:
Changeover is any day. Minimum stay is 3 days, but in July, August and September it is 7 days. Arrivals after 15:00 and departures before 11:00 unless agreed. We can store your luggage.

  • Notes on accommodation: Twin bed can be converted to a double bed. Outside: Subtropical garden leading onto beach and barbecue area over the beach with seating. Beach on the doorstep. Area with plenty of nice restaurants and shops, and 5 minute walk to Balcon de Europa. Utility Room: Client utility room with washing machines and ironing facilities. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included and changed once a week, or more often if required. No beach towels. Cleaning included before arrival and after departure; extra cleaning can be arranged at a charge.
