About the property

Luxurious Apartment on Lake Garda overlooking Southern Lake Garda - Beautifully Located Amongst Olive Groves And Vineyards 3km From Lake Garda

This spacious first class apartment is part of this beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse. The apartment is fully equiped with all the modern comforts you can imagine. Air-conditioning, Multi Vision Sky International channels, WIFI connection, DVD players in all rooms and flat screen televisions, I pod docking

station and CD player. Lounge is very comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. The Kitchen open paln is large and has all the modern cons you will

need. Amongst olive groves and vineyards in an elevated position overlooking Lake Garda.

The great attraction to this apartment is that is much more of a home than the usual 'bare' Holiday lets. The furnishings are very beautiful and some of my oil paintings are hung up around the apartment.

One Bedroom is King Size and there is also a 3rd Pull Out single sofa in that same room. Picture Door Window (1st Floor) looking from the bedroom onto the internal courtyard. Large Flat Screen TV. DVD Player. Sky International TV, Wi Fi Connection and Airconditioing of course.

Accross the corridor or Landing rather a 2nd Double Bedroom with Flat Screen TV, DVD Player, Wi Fi Connevtion, Picture Door Window onlooking the internal courtyard and of course Air Conditioning. On the same floor (1st Floor) a Bathroom (yes with proper bath) Shower Head. WC, Bidet and Sink. On same floor a walk in cupboard.

Ground Floor Large open spave living room lounge area with large kitchen with oven, microwave , electric hob, dishwasher, kettle, cofee maker, toaster, double sink and plenty of kitche utensils. Glass table for 6 people.

Comfortable Sofas (one pullout to double bed) Large Flat Screen TV, DVD Player. CD Player. Sky International TV.

On the same grunf floor a small utility space then leads on a small WC and Shoer Unit.

Tastefully decorated with some of my oil paintings too. Of course Air conditioning and Wi fi throughout.

Garda with close proximity to well know resorts of Garda, Bardolino, Sirmione and Gardone riviera. On bicycle and walking trails. Close to local typical Italian trattorias, bars. Easy access to Desenzano train station on the Venice, Verona, Milan line. If you want to be in an idylic and relaxing position within reach at an arms length of all amenities then you need to stay at 'Cascina Paradiso'. A real paradise and quite unique.

About Michele Valente (Sandro)

Hi There. My name is Sandro an 55 years old and am Scottish/Italian. I have lived on Lake Garda these last 30 years. I am a manager for a specialist Lakes and Mountains/Ski Tour Operator based on Lake Garda

I was born and brought up on the East coast of Scotland raised by Italian parents who were in the Ice Cream and Restaurant business but I longed to live in Italy and started my university life here soon to get myself appointed at a young age in tourism. I spend a lot of time travelling Europe and on the few occasions that I get a chance I also stay at Cascina Paradiso. I live in the city of Brescia 20 minutes drive from Lake Garda where I also have my office

In my line of work i strive to achieve quality and great value for money and of course professionalism and trust.

In my spare time i love walking and do oil paintings some of which are in my apartment.

thats me!

Michele Valente (Sandro) purchased this apartment in 2010

Why Michele Valente (Sandro) chose Lonato del Garda

I bought this beautiful property which is in a select area amongst vineyards and olive groves in an elevated position above Lake Garda (3km away from the lake side).

I bought Cascina Paradiso because it is so different from your usual small holiday apartment and because it is in the most beautiful position you can imagine.. I still cant believe i own an apartment here. Its so Italian and has all the modern comforts of a real home and abundant with space which you need on holiday. I fell in love with it here as although you are very near to all amenities and hussle and bussle of resorts and cities, you still have the peace of this real paradise.. I try often when i can to steal a day away here to recharge the batteries and savour all thats on offer here

What makes this apartment unique

This apartment which is part of an 18th century refurbished farmhouse is different from most holiday lets is very exclusive, very spacious over 110 square meters in a park area of over 1.500 sq meters with large swimming pool and tennis courts. Very conveniently postioned on Lake Garda with spectacular vies from the 'Paradiso' area.

I think the massive difference to many other lets also is the quality of the furnishing and the added facilities to make it a comfortable home .

I'm very proud of my plavce and every year 50% of my guests are returners

Guestbook comments from the owner

Mark and Utte from Norway. " No wonder they call it paradise here" "We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the Cascina Paradiso and the surrounding area"

"What we liked most of all was to be in an idyllic position above Lake Garda and the fact that we were only 5 minutes from the hussle and bussle of the resorts.

Sandro the Scottish Italian proprietor couldn't have been friendlier and helpful "

Feargal Courtney and family from the Killarney School of English 31st October to 7th November. " We spent a lovely week at Lake Garda recently in Cascina Paradiso--It is a wonderful house in a lovely complex with plenty for small children to do. We would reccomend Cascina Paradiso 100% and hope to return in the future"

A Fantastic Family Holiday

  • 5 of 5

Cascina Paradiso was the perfect place for a wonderful holiday. Right from our initial enquiries Sandro was the perfect host, providing useful information, meeting us off the motorway and showing us around his beautiful apartment. The apartment is situated in stunning gardens with a large pool with loads of space to relax, there is also an immaculate Astro-turf tennis court (although during most of our stay it was too hot to play). The apartment is fully equipped with everything needed, the decor is really cool and it felt like a home from home.

The locatIon is perfect for exploring Lake Garda, we particularly enjoyed visiting Sirmione, Desenzano, Salo & Maderno. We also had great days out to Verona, Lake Iseo and mustn't forget a fun evening at Gardaland where the children maxed out on roller coasters.

If you want to stay closer to home Lovale is an excellent restaurant within walking distant of the apartment, we ate there a couple of times and the food was Bellissimo!

We would very much like to return.

Grazie Mille Sandro!!

Blissful Stay

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at this lovely house. Sandro the owner was a terrific help guiding us to meet him as a result of a motorway snarl up which delayed our arrival by over 2 hours.

The house is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It is very spacious and has everything you need. Sandro was available to provide us with recommendations and the idea of having a "pay as you go bar" was great.

The grounds were very well maintained with a superb pool. The other owners didn't seem to rent out so for most of the week we had the pool to ourselves.

Although the road in is single track it was very easy to manage and within a minute you were onto the main roads and then able to explore the very beautiful lake region.

There were a number of local restaurants and on our last night we went into the local town Lonato and had a night with the locals in Ezio's which was very atmospheric.

The location is great for exploring the Lake either by driving with great access roads or by Ferry from Desenzano.

Would highly recommend a visit. You will love it.

Owner's Response: Its always a pleasure to help out and appreciate how important it is as far a customer care is concerned. Many guests have become my friends now and each year now a good deal of my friends now return to my place.

The best kept secret on Lake Garda.

  • 5 of 5

I have to say that this was one of the best home from homes to stay when exploring Lake Garda.

Booking was simple and easy and Sandro the owner was always quick to reply to our questions so we were more than convinced that our stay would be special and we were not disappointed.

Sandro met us at the exit from the motorway and so the drive was really easy but his directions would have done as they were spot on too.

Set in large well kept grounds with a swimming pool and tennis courts, the apartment had everything to make you feel at home and even some bottles of wine which you could buy and leave the cash ( really honest and a great touch).

The apartment was spotlessly clean and nothing was missing to make your stay complete.

Sandro popped over during our stay just to see that things were ok and he is such a great host.

A real oasis of peaceful tranquility and only a short drive to the lake. Some really nice little local restaurants nearby too if you don't always want to drive far. The secure entry system also made us feel safe too.

I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone but don't all book up at once as we want to come back soon.

We loved staying here and so did our dog who thought it really was paradise as she kept stealing balls from the tennis court :)

Grazie mille Sandro. You really are a host extraordinaire.

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place arrived in the dark which was good enough but seeing it next morning was even better ideal base for sightseeing round Lake Garda lovely to return to peace and tranquility after a bustling day apartment was true to the description in fact better airey and spacious tastefully furnished and well equipped and although sharing with good friends could still find space to do your own thing pool area superb and lovely garden areas to relax in Sandro was very helpful we had a small fault with one of the doors and it was sorted promptly he gave us valuable advice for getting about. Wonderful eating place 10 minutes away very good and reasonable in price in short superb place a home from home and wonderful area to explore good memories of fine wine and food THANKYOU Sandro for lefty us share a slice of your wonderful country and lifestyle.

Owner's Response: It was a real pleasure having you at Cascina Paradiso and know you really appreciated the spaciousness of my home. It is of course more a home than just a normal let and was happy to join you for a drink in the private gazebo which you thoroughly enjoyed. Remember the Welcome Back mat is at the front door and look forward to seeing you again.

Buonissimo!

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Sandro's beautiful house. The photographs really do show just how perfect the setting is and the property itself has everything you need and more for a luxury base near Lake Garda. We often had the pool and tennis court to ourselves as the Cascina was very quiet on weekdays. Even though the location looks remote, it's very close to supermarkets to keep your fridge and wine cellar topped up and there is a very atmospheric agritourismo restaurant within 10 minutes walk if you fancy a meal out, but don't want to drive. (Thanks for the recommendation!) The house itself was very well equipped, spotlessly clean, and Sandro was one of the most helpful people I've ever met - couldn't have been nicer! I would thoroughly recommend Cascina Paradiso as the ideal spot for a rural retreat away from the bustling lakeside resorts. Grazie!

Owner's Response: Thanks Sophie. I'm pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Cascina Paradiso. In fact I fell in love with the place because it is close to all amenities and yet has the rural, peaceful position which sold it for me. I get very envious now of all my guests who stay at Cascina Paradiso BUT i've managed to block off a few days there too for my personal use. Hope to see you soon.

Fabulous!

  • 5 of 5

Our holiday at Sandro’s property in Cascina Paradiso was quite simply amazing and so much so we plan to return.

Situated in beautiful grounds the apartment has everything you could ever need. It felt like a home away from home rather than a holiday rental. As our daughter will confirm the pool is superb as are the tennis and volleyball courts. A car is a good idea if you intend to explore the mind blowing scenery that surrounds Lake Garda, but be assured that the apartment is perfectly situated to ensure most journeys to points of interest do not take long.

Attention to detail at every stage of our holiday was perfect, we could not have asked for more. Thank you Sandro.
