Our 35 acre farm is located between the unspoilt fishing village of Mousehole and the famous artists village of Lamorna. Our two cottages are granite built with great views over the surrounding countryside. Situated on our farm in an area of outstanding natural beauty this is the perfect place to escape and unwind. The cottages are double glazed, have woodburners and have central heating included, from October to April inclusive, which means they are as cosy in December as they are cool in August. Both cottages have electricity & initial bag of logs for the wood burner included. We welcome a well behaved dog in both cottages, but there is strictly no smoking. WiFi is available free of charge.

Tremerth is a single storey granite cottage of charm & character.

Stable door into kitchen/dining room with gas cooker, fridge, microwave & dishwasher. Dining table, chairs & window seat. Hallway to lovely dual aspect living room with views over the countryside with woodburning stove, comfy leather sofa, flatscreen, freeview digital TV, DVD recorder/player & radio/CD with ipod docking. Inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove. Free WiFi.

Bedroom with extremely comfortable King size bed, flatscreen digital TV, quality furnishings with all bedlinen supplied. Bathroom with large shower cubicle, power shower and multiple adjustments. Bath & hand towels provided, you will need to bring your own beach towels.

All windows are double glazed & the cottage is centrally heated from October to April inclusive from 8.00am to 10.00pm. The only extras you need are logs for the woodburner (first bag included). Pergola with table & bench & parking.

About the Owner

I am Rachel & live on our small farm, 35 acres, with my husband Nick, Tammy our Border Collie, Margot our Spinone, Hunky & Dory our two cats, five horses, chickens, geese, pigs & of course our sheep & their guard Llama, Chico.

I moved to West Cornwall in 1981 having had a lifelong romance with Cornwall and to Castallack in 1998.

This part of Cornwall is very special to me & the peace & tranquillity is a real feature along with the many fantastic beaches, great art and culture and wonderful walks.

I used to own a restaurant in Penzance, 15 years of hard work and no social life, but now concentrate on our accommodation.

I am really proud of our two cottages into which we have put so much time & effort, they are both fabulous to stay in, for a week or a month.

We bought the property because I had known it as farm buildings when I used to ride around here from our previous home two miles away. I loved the location then & love it even more now. We are away from city, town, village life & live in a small hamlet that although away from it all is close to Mousehole, Newlyn & Penzance. We go to the wonderful Minack Theatre as often as possible & enjoy the great cafes & restaurants in the locality.

Travel:

Newquay airport is 45 minutes away, use of a car is not essential as public transport is available locally but is recommended.

Distances:

Close To Newlyn 3 miles and Penzance 4 miles. Mousehole 1 1/2 miles and Lamorna Cove 1 mile. Within easy reach of St Michael's Mount, St Ives, Falmouth, the Lizard, Lands End, The Minack outdoor theatre and slightly further The Eden Project, The Lost Gard ens of Heligan, Trebah and Glendurgan gardens.
