Villa in Albufeira Old Town, Central Algarve, Portugal - Air Con And Fireplace

Villa Adriana, although in a quiet secluded area, is very close (15 minutes walk) to all the amenities and the attractions of Old Town Albufeira, ie, supermarket, bars and restaurants and the Beach. From Albufeira, tickets are easily available from many shops for day trips to many activities including: water slide parks, karting, horse riding, bowling and others. An experience not to be missed are the local gypsy markets which take place fortnightly in Albufeira and Quarteira. Indeed if you want to spend a day shopping you can avail of the regular daily bus trip to either Faro or Algarve shopping centre. The local beaches have great water activities from jet ski, banana boats and paragliding. Golfers are spoilt for choice with a dozen of the best golf courses within 15 to 30 minutes drive.

Very nice villa

Villa was in good condition - very clean and well-maintained. Photographs on the website are accurate

Good location - quiet at night but c30 minutes to walk into the town centre. Very easy to get to supermarket nearby.

The owner was helpful - spoke excellent English and was very quick to reply when we had any questions beforehand. Seemed very reliable.

Lovely villa with private pool

Good sized villa, well equipped, including a fridge freezer with water and ice dispenser(!), large TV and free Wi-Fi. The jewel is the very private pool and water wall feature. Located in a quiet residential area, with small local bars/cafes, a Lidl and a lovely restaurant A Cocheira, all within 5 -10 mins walk. Albufeira Old Town is approx. 15 mins walk away.

Unfortunately, didn't get to meet Nuno, the owner, however he was extremely helpful, via phone & e-mail with the booking process and arranging the airport transfers at an excellent rate.

Overall, offers peace and relaxation, whilst being handy for all the facilities and amenities of Albufeira

lovely spacious villa, and private enclosed pool

We met Nuno the owner on our first day of arrival, he was so friendly and offered advice of area, gave us show over of villa and instructions and offered his mobile to ring if any problems. He also arranged the taxi to and from airport at a good rate. You couldn't ask for a better location for the villa, in a quiet secluded area 15 mins out from the old town but a lovely walk in via a pathway through landscaped gardens away from main road.There is easy access to a supermarket 5 mins around corner which stocks everything, try the roasted chicken and piri piri 3.4 euros. The villa is spacious and comfortable and has every amenity required, even a fridge/freezer that dispences fresh cold water and ice cubes/slush if required(no need to buy water bottles). a/c provided in living area as well as main bedroom which was needed late evening, the main bed was very comfortable. The best feature for us was sitting outside in the enclosed garden around the pool which was very PRIVATE, no one overlooking and listening to the water fall down the adjacent wall into the pool was vey calming and peaceful, the pool area has the sun mid morn till dusk. There is free wifi ,large screen tv for nights in but no dvd player. We will definitely be back next year if a suitable week is available and not booked up and if Nuno will have us back.

Great villa, great location

A great well equipped villa in a lovely peaceful location approximately 15 minutes walk from the Old town & gorgeous beach. Supermarkets close by & also cafes/piri piri chicken takeaway. Lovely relaxing times & Al fresco dining by the pool. Nuno the owner of Casa Adriana was very friendly & helpful right from initial booking, arranging our airport transfers & giving general advice during our stay. We loved Albuefria Old Town & all it has to offer with a superb choice of bar & restaurants serving traditional Portuguese dishes. Also on offer if required English food was available. The cobbled streets with their excellent range of shops was a delight to explore. The town came to life at night with a variety of entertainment centred around the market square. We definitely plan to return one day to Casa Adriana in the future.

I bought the property in this area as it was very near Old Town Albufeira and very convenient to Schools, supermarkets as well as restaurants and sport facilities.

Once you decide to book Villa Adriana the owner will send you the booking procedure with the payment terms which are as follows: 50% non refundable deposit to secure your booking, and the balance 60 days before your holiday starts. Also there is a breakage deposit of € 300 payable on arrival. This deposit will be fully returned, by bank transfer, one week after your departure, subject to satisfactory property and inventory inspection.

Changeover Day:
The changeover day for villa Adriana is on Saturdays. However in the months of November to March the changeover day is flexible. Check in time: 4pm.Check out time: 10am.


Notes on prices:
Long winter lets (November to April) are welcome at very atractive prices. Please ask me.

The villa with its modern décor and private pool has an outside barbeque ideal for "al fresco dining" by the pool. Although there is no need to hire a car, if you do, you may park it in the driveway inside the property for total security and privacy , which is not a common feature in most properties of this type.
