Apartment in Albufeira, Montechoro, Central Algarve, Portugal - Residential Location 5 Minutes Walk From All Amenities

The apartment overlooks the quiet countryside (Brejos) and is a new build. It has 2 communal pools, 1 normal pool and 1 for small children. There are comfortable loungers around the pool and on the roof terrace. It has a balcony with access from the living room and bedroom. The location is ideal for those wishing a relaxing holiday in comfortable surroundings but with a walk of only 10 minutes to the famous "Strip" in Albufeira with its many restaurants and bars. The old town, numerous beeches and golf courses are only a short bus/shuttle/car ride away.

Monte da Eira apartment

A great stay at the apartment, everything you would need for self catering in a secure private friendly residence, in the residential area of Montechoro.

The apartment was first class. Spotlessly clean and well equipped.

Harry most helpful with guides to area, we were looking for a sedate relaxing venue which we had by the pool most days.

When we ventured out, car less, the local bus service was great to all parts of Albufeira day ticket for €4.

The "strip" was only a 10 min stroll if you wanted to check out the bars and restaurants.

There was a small Mercado close by for daily needs and larger supermarkets within 10 minutes.

The meet and greet service was most helpful with pickup and return to Faro.

I would recommend to anyone the apartment at Monte da Eira.

During ther day it´s very quiet and still only about a 10 minute walk to the top of the strip.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Faro at 30 Kilometres Nearest Train : Ferreiras at 4 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : A22 at 6 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Pria da Oura at 4 Kilometres

Coast/Beach:

There are numerous beaches in and around Albufeira. The nearest beech is about 25 minutes walk by bus 5 minutes. A shuttle to the old town runs regularly from the strip. Another nice beech is Praia da Falesia which is about a 20 minute car ride and is worth a visit.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Faro and is about 35 minutes drive to Monte da Eira. Car hire is available at the airport but its advisable to book in advance. A 10% discount is available from Autorent when you book my apartment. A pick up by taxi at the airport can be arranged and costs €35 one way.

Distances:

The journey from the apartment to the motorway takes about 15 minutes and with Albufeira's central position other towns and cities are within easy reach. The N125 runs parallel to the motorway and is about 5 minutes from Monte da Eira. The main shopping center at Giua is only 15 minutes by car and is situated on the N125.

Further Details:

A map of the local area outlining positions of shops, cash machines, chemists etc will be available to guests. There are also in the apartment information leaflets for many attractions that can be found in Albufeira and the surrounding area. Cots and childrens high chairs are available for a small fee on request.
