Fantastic Location, Only A Short Walk To The Beach, Bars And Restaurants

The villa is just 500 yards from the beach, and has the use of a shared pool right by the front door. The village of Isla Plana with it restaurants, bars and beaches is only a short walk away, whilst the bustling town of Puerto de Mazarron is just a 5 minute drive away, or less than half an hour for those who want to walk along this stunning coast-line. The villa benefits from wi-fi, 1 double bedroom (with en-suite), 1 twin bedroom, plus a double sofa bed, allowing comfortable accommodation of up to 6 people, and is fully air-conditioned. There is also a travel cot available.

Excellent property with all the amenities you could wish for.

The villa was very clean and comfortable and included plenty of extras which had either been put there or left there. As we are both pensioners we decided not to use the surfboard. The owner was extremely helpful and answered all of our e-mail questions without delay. We took an Internet radio and the wifi signal was sufficient for it to work very well. There is also an excellent DVD player which is easy to fathom.

There is a really good restaurant (I think it's called the Mirador) within easy walking distance which does both lunchtime and evening meals of excellent quality. There are also good beaches within walking distance.

We would go here again and recommend it to couples and small families.

Fantastic

We have just returned from this Villa and as a family of four with high expectations and standards we were extremely happy with the location and accommodation, it has space and equipped as you would want when on holiday. We cannot recommend highly enough and will be going back and will book this Villa. Great value and also great assistance from the owner who will do all he can to make the booking process et al painless.

Mantenimiento regular.

Limpieza escasa, mobiliario muy pobre, el sitio es muy bonito y tranquilo. No hay cafetera y las sartenes están para tirar.

Hay colchones con grandes manchas.

Owner's Response: En este momento la villa no cumplía con sus expectativas. Voy a hablar con nuestros productos de limpieza sobre la limpieza realizado antes de su visita. Como un pequeño punto, el colchón en sí es nuevo y limpio. Las manchas se encontraron estamos en un subsuelo de espuma, entre el colchón y el somier. No estoy seguro de cómo habrían llegado hasta allí, ni cómo llegó a retirar el colchón con el fin de verlos. Sólo puedo imaginar que de alguna manera fueron causados desde la última vez que el colchón se hace girar por el personal de limpieza, lo que hubiera sido hace unos meses, sólo puedo pedir disculpas y le hará saber la espuma ya han sido eliminados, resolviendo así el problema de los futuros clientes.

A wide variety of snorkeling, diving and water sports are available in Puerto de Mazarron, a 5 minute drive from the villa.

Coast/Beach:

The village of Isla Plana itself has 3 beaches, ranging from shingle to golden sand, with the closest beach only 500 yards from your from door there is no need to drive unless you want to try out one of the dozen or more beaches Mazarron bay has offer. Puerto de Mazarron has 2 absolutely fantastic sandy beaches to choose from.

Travel:

It is recommended to hire a car, though transfers can be arranged and once in Isla Plana most things you need are within walking distance. The nearest airports are: Alicante (88miles). San Javier (36miles). Corvera (24miles - opens Sept 2011).

Distances:

Isla Plana - 1/4 mile. Puerto de Mazarron - 4 miles. Cartagena - 15 miles. Mazarron - 16 miles. Murcia - 41 miles.

Further Details:

As well as the beaches there are the historic cities Murcia and Cartagena nearby. The harbour town of Puerto de Mazarron is just 5 minutes away offering all the amenities you could possibly need as well as a variety of water sports, great places to eat and drink, and of course more great beaches. There are over a dozen excellent golf courses within half an hour, as well as mountain and coastal walks, including harbours, beaches and secluded coves, to enjoy.

With over 300 days of sun a year this is the perfect spot to enjoy your holiday!
