About the Owner

We have owned "Ivybank Cottage" for 18 years and visit at least once a month for maintenance and just to enjoy it! In 18 years of ownership, we still haven't seen everything the beautiful South Hams has to offer.

Excellent base for walking, beaches, SW coast path etc. S.Branaghan, North London.

Peaceful and secluded, yet handy for civilisation. A Parkes, Birmingham.

We all loved the cottage, Bella (the Cocker Spaniel) loved the local walks! Julie and family, Lichfield.

A most enjoyable Holiday!

  • 5 of 5

We had a most enjoyable holiday at Ivy Bank Cottage - a very homely and cosy place with a delightful garden.

It will certainly be somewhere we would return to in the future and we will recommend you to our friends.

Lovely Devon cottage with idylic walks.

  • 5 of 5

We spent a very happy New Year in this lovely, warm cottage. Beautiful area! Lucy our dog thoroughly enjoyed Ermington Woods and long walks on the lovely local beaches.

A glass of bubbly, a log fire, just perfect!

We also appreciated the welcome tray of tea and coffee on arrival.

Mark, Emily and Lucy (the dog).

Lovely Cottage

  • 4 of 5

Lovely traditional cottage, with great access to all the South Hams has to offer. We loved out stay at Ivybank Cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean and in lovely rural surroundings but with great access to beautiful Wembury Beach (National Trust) and gorgeous villages of the South Hams. Fabulous Bigbury and Bantham Beaches nearby too.

Thank you very much - we wil be back!

Nice Cottage

  • 4 of 5

In all honesty we were expecting that there would be too little entertainment, it was just for a few days break. However what brilliant few days we had in your lovely peaceful cottage. A walk on the beach, a trip to the pub then relax in comfort, thanks for all the books and CDs! I, George and Hattie ( aged 4 months ) loved it! Hattie says she particularly likes the garden. Every facility was exactly as advertised and your housekeeper ( if that's the right term? ) very helpful indeed. Thank you from all three of us. Will definately be back and recommend to friends and family. Thanks again.
