Split over two floors, this 90m2 third floor apartment offers a wonderfully light and spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area, leading out on to the large, south-facing balcony. It is equipped to a very high standard and offers spacious and comfortable living. Nestled at 1100 meters in the centre of the small friendly pedestrian village of Morillon Les Esserts it is just 30 meters from 2 chairlifts carrying winter skiers and summer bikers to the sprawling Grand Massif. Just 1 hour drive from Geneva in the stunningly beautiful Giffre Valley it is a winter and summer resort. Activities for both seasons are immense offering attractions for all ages and abilities.

Coast/Beach:

Several wonderful mountain lakes are within minutes drive, offering small beach areas for children with safe swimming. There is a lovely water park in Samoens next to the river with water slides and adventure areas and long cycling tracks along the river.

The Giffre valley offers an enormous selection of outdoor activities for the summer months including cycling, rafting, canyoning, climbing, paragliding. The chair lifts remain open to allow access to the mountains in the area.

Travel:

Geneva 60 minutes drive. Transfer to and from Geneva are available, car hire is not essential.

Distances:

All villages the Grand Massif can be skied to as they are interlinked from Morillon.

Morillon Village (10 mins by gondola or car)

Samoens 15 mins by car.

Sixt 20 mins by car.

Mont Blanc and Chamonix are only 50 minutes by car.

Winter & Summer:

Morillon Les Esserts is a small community. It has restaurants and a couple of bars. A wonderful bakery next to the apartment and a supermarket stocking all essentials. A small gondola links to Morillon Village (5 mins) where there are further restaurants and bars and a couple of hotels. The surrounding villages are beautiful medieval style and offer some wonderful restaurants and markets in both summer and winter.
