This air-conditioned, centrally heated, ground–floor, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom garden apartment in Porto Petro, Mallorca is extremely comfortable & very well appointed, located in a tranquil area with a bay view only a short stroll to the boating marina, numerous local restaurants and shops as well as the local public beach.There are free use public tennis courts and children's play area adjacent to the gated apartment complex, which provides a secure parking facility. The apartment benefits from a large terrace off the living area & master bedroom which overlooks the garden patio with its sun shading pergola for comfortable 'al fresco' wining & dining from the kitchen, or from the BBQ. It is situated in the unspoilt pretty harbour village of Porto Petro, which is not a major tourist resort making it also ideal for winter breaks.

“Perfect week in Porto Petro”

We stayed here for 7 nights with 2 small children in October 2011. The apartment is located is the small fishing village of Porto Petro, the beautiful East coast of Mallorca. Due to it's location, a car is not necessary but helpful to explore the wider area. In the village everything is within walking distance, the beach, a SPA of a 5 star hotel, restaurants and water sports. The apartment itself was perfectly kitted out for our stay and was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. It is an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area and offers incredible value for money; We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to this part of Mallorca.

Beautiful villa near stunning port

The property was excellent, very spacious with an excellent view of the port or harbour. The product listing was accurate and it was very clean.

The owners provided excellent service and were very communicative.

The local amenities are also good.

I spent most of the time at the beach or exploring the local towns. Excellent place to unwind and chill!

Beautiful Apartment in an excellent location

We have just returned from staying in July 2016

If you read the earlier reviews as we did there is no change to the quality of the accommodation, well appointed, large lounge and excellent air conditioning. The 'star' feature for us was the split level terrace, great views, sea breezes and 'al fresco' dining.

Porto Petro is a must if you like a relaxed quiet life with harbour restaurants selling good quality food. The public beach next to the Blau Hotel a short distance from the apartment is a beautiful cove very safe for swimming.

Also the pool area at the apartment is very quiet and enjoyable.

Yvonne the owner provided us with a lot of local information via Email and was available for contact.

A perfect holiday apartment in a beautiful resort

We had a fantastic 2 week stay in Porto Petro and Evee ans Simon's apartment couldn't be in a better location. The view from the terrace overlooking the harbour are breathtaking. The apartment is stunning, a real home from home. Extremely comfortable with everything one would need for a self catering holiday. The pool area is very secluded... A real sun trap and never crowded. Evee and Simon responded to every query promptly and nothing was too much trouble. We are looking forward to returning again.

Amazing place to stay in.

We stayed here in August 2015. The place was amazing, it had everything you needed and was well equipped. The pool area was quiet and the views were brilliant. It is only a 5 minute walk to all the restaurants perfect location. Would definitely stay there again. Thankyou

Lovely Place

We really do recommend this lovely apartment.

It was as they describe it, a home form home, very nicely decorated with a wonderful layout. The main bedroom and living room opening out onto a split level veranda with an eating area and great views of the harbor. There's nothing quite like sitting in that little garden on a Mediterranean evening eating grilled prawns with a glass of wine looking at the boats gently bobbing up and down on the water.

The pool at the back of the apartment is clean, quiet, sheltered and therefore hot, a good size and a great place to sunbathe.

Portopetro it's self is a world away from CalaDor and though there are quite a few newer buildings around It has a charm all of its own

There a are a number of decent restaurants and a there's a very useful description of most of them left in the apartment by Yvonne.

Raphael y Flora's restaurant situated at the bottom of the steps up to the apartment is a very friendly family run place with some great seafood.

Portopetro really is a great place from which to explore the south eastern Mallorcan coast. There are countless pretty beaches, fishing villages and unspoilt towns with wonderful old stone work all within 20 km. Some of the less well signposted beaches are pretty stunning and the Caribbian clear turquois water is amazing.

Loved it!

Recently returned from a lovely week in Porto Petro. This excellent apartment is very well appointed and has everything you need for a relaxing break including comfortable, spacious bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms. It has a large living area but, with the lovely terraces outside, you might not have much call to use it! The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The upper terrace has beautiful views to the sea, while the lower level has a lovely dining area and BBQ. The complex itself is very well maintained. The flowers are stunning and the pool area is spotless and cleaned regularly. The location is perfect with just a short walk to the town where there is a great selection of bars and restaurants.

Booking arrangements were ideal via Yvonne who always responded quickly to any questions we had. All in all, we had a perfect week here and I can thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment.

I would also recommend car hire through The Best Villas in Pollensa. We have used them twice now. They are reasonably priced, good cars. They bring the car to Palma airport for you and the car has only a small amount of fuel in it - and you give it back this way. Great service!

From the Owner

Porto Petro is unique in that it has a sense for tourism, without losing any of its local 'flavour'. An extremely pretty coastal village that provides all necessary amenities of a yacht club marina, a quiet beach, the 5* Luxury Blau Hotel & Spa & local shopping and restaurants, a number even open in the off-season months. The local area within 5km offers the beauty, peace and tranquility of the Mondrago National Park with its woodland walks, horse riding facilities & a stunning beach. This is contrasted, equally close, by the more 'bustling' Cala d'Or' for those seeking some busier night life and/or just a change of scenery. These places are serviced by a 'road-train' in the summer. A bit further afield are the towns of Santanyi, Felanitx and Campos with more shopping and weekly markets.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary


There are numerous beaches in the area. The closest is only 5mins walk and public, but boasts facilities provided by the luxurious 5* Luxury Blau Hotel located next door.


Porto Petro is about 50 minutes drive from Palma airport. Taxi and car hire is available at the airport. For those not wishing to hire a car or taxi we recommend prior booking through resorthoppa for very reasonable transport costs to/from Palma airport.


Porto Petro is about 3 km from Cala D’or, Cala Egos and Cala Mondrago. A small delightful 'road-train' operates an hourly service via Porto Petro to these various areas. Cala d’Or is where one can find a busier centre to shop, eat and enjoy some nightlife.

Car hire is not essential, but highly recommended to give access to exploring the beautiful coves and beaches in the surrounding areas.

Further Details:

There are numerous restaurants in Porto Petro, two small supermarkets, and other shops that provide most all required.

Points of interest in the local area include:

Island of Cabrera Natural Park .

Cala Mondrago Natural Park & Beach

Saturday Market in Santanyi in the village square (5km away)/and a larger Sunday Market in Felanitx (25km away).

Daily trips in the summer to Cala Ferreira on the Star-fish boat.

Scuba Diving school in Port Petro.

Fine dining available at the adjacent 5* Luxury Blau Hotel.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is no smoking and regret pets not welcome. Outside: To the front of the apartment there is a small private area that can be used as a sitting area. The large shared swimming pool is surrounded by a sun patio with lounges for common use and is very convenient to the front door of the apartment. To the rear of the apartment there is a large terrace accessed off the living area & master bedroom with a casual table and chairs. This terrace overlooks the garden patio with a large six-seater mahogany dining table under a sun-shading pergola and a mobile BBQ. Utility Room: The utility room contains washing machine, clothes horse, wash sink, ironing board, hoover and houses the C/H boiler and A/C unit. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and bath towels provided. Weekly linen change and apartment cleaned before arrival and on departure.
