The property has a perfect location for all the families needs. Each room has its own en-suite, kitchen is very modern and is fully equiped. Property has fans in all rooms (Aircon provided in 2 x main bedrooms), protected 'child friendly' garden with fantastic roof terrace overlooking golf course with amazing sea views. All top bars / restaurants & supermarket are a 2 minute walk through the gardens. Good size living room to cater for a full family / golf party.

Lovely house, lovely area

Lovely big house, near to lots of restaurants shops and a bakery, 3 swimming pools shared throughout the old village, house had everything you needed for self catering .7 of us all together had a wonderful time, near by beach was fantastic, nice and big roof terrace with lovely views, 4 en suite bathrooms lots to see and do Albuferia worth a day out not far in taxi . Bin men are particularly noisy if you are sleeping in the front bedrooms they come very early 5-6am but are soon gone, Paul gave us plenty of information about the house and was easily contactable

Excellent

Paul, the owner, was extremely helpful on the phone giving us all the information we requested on Casa Mia, transport and facilities in the Old Village. We could not have asked for more from him. The description of the property was accurate and came up to expectation. Casa Mia was very clean and fully equipped for a family holiday. A hire car is not essential as there is a shuttle service based in the Old Village. A well stocked mini-market only a short walk away provided for our holiday needs. There were a variety of local restaurants and we enjoyed strolling the short distance from Casa Mia. Much enjoyment was had at the 3 swimming pools. The town of Vilamoura was a 10-15 minute walk with good beaches and a colourful Marina. Casa Mia was a perfect venue for all the family and well worth a 5 star rating. We were sad to leave for home and I have no hesitation to recommending Casa Mia to friends and family.

Excellent house

We stayed at Casa Mia for 6 nights at the end of July and had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and huge with 4 double ensuite bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a spacious lounge with patio doors leading onto the garden with table and chairs and an amazing roof terrace with sun loungers and another table and chairs and a view overlooking one of the pools. The house is very beautifully decorated and is spotlessly clean. It has air conditioning in two of the bedrooms but it would be even better if this was extended to the other bedrooms and lounge but apart from this the house is perfect! The Old Village is in a lovely location and the house is perfectly situated in a quiet area but close to the restaurants, supermarket and bakery, which we visited every morning for delicious freshly baked croissants! Villamoura Marina is a nice easy walk from the old village and took about 15/20 mins and when walking back at night felt very safe. There are lots of nice restaurants around the marina and we enjoyed some lovely meals down there with the lovey backdrop of the sunsetting and the luxurious boats. Equally we had some great meals at the restaurants in the Old Village which were very reaonably priced and with great food, and it was nice to have the choice every night between staying at the village or going to the marina.We didn't use the land train but we saw that it was running frequently through the day and night and the stop for it was near the supermarket. We had a fantastic stay and was sad to leave this lovely house. We want to say a special mention to Paul the owner. We had been let down on another property we had booked in Villamoura 2 days before we flew so after frantically trying to find somewhere else we came across Casa Mia 24 hours before our flight out to Portugal and from the moment we contacted Paul he was so helpful and accommodated us at the very last minute. He explained everything about the house in great detail and gave us advice about good restaurants and information about the surrounding areas. We really appreciate the thorough attention to detail and his friendliness and the time he took to chat on the phone. We truly believe we had a much nicer holiday at Casa Mia then we would of had in our original apartment which was in a different area of Villamoura. It was our first time in Portugal and we all loved it and had a amazing time in the sun and can't wait to hopefully return to Casa Mia again in the very near future.

A well equipped wonderful family house

We had a really lovely holiday here , we were a mix of three generations and the house worked perfectly for us. It was very clean, well equipped and the private garden off the living room was perfect for popping in and out of the sun. The bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms were very comfortable and the views from the sun roof are fabulous . We would highly recommend this house for rental.

Excellent Property

We booked this property for a group of 8 female athletes at short notice after another apartment we had booked got flood damage.

The owner Paul was excellent to deal with from the outset.

Having stayed in and booked numerous apartments at the Old Village over the past 10 years, this was without doubt one of if not the best. It is very well decorated and furnished, bright and roomy. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, something which has been an issue with other apartments. It has a spacious roof terrace & a delightful private garden area. It is very well located, close to the quietest pool, yet away from the bars which I guess can get noisy at night.

The girls that stayed in it were over the moon and have requested it for future stays. Paul was very complimentary about the condition it was left in, which has not always been the case with other athletics parties. Subsequently the security bond was returned instantly on my return.

Great property

. We booked a family stay at this Villa. Paul was very helpful in giving information about the property and it lived up to expectations. With 5 grown up children in our party of 7, the 4 en suite bedrooms were brilliant. Sky sports also a welcome addition. The kitchen was well appointed and provide all required facilities although we could have done with an additional wooden spoon!.

July is very hot and the fans in the room were fully employed. For me personally aircon would have been welcome, but the rest of the party were happy enough without The main pool was our favourite, and you did not need to get up too early to reserve a sun bed. There is a small pool next to the Villa, but only had 10 sunbeds and no bar.

This is a modern complex with a good choice of restaurants, they cater for most tastes and are a little more pricey, but very convenient if you do not want to go to the marina. The shop is well stocked and has all essentials, fresh bread in the morning was a favourite. There is a taxi / transfer bus available to book from near the shop it can be a little more expensive than the local taxi, but they will pick you up at an agreed time normally from the Thai restaurant near the Marina. The walk to marina is a good 20 / 25 mins. We found a good local restaurant near the petrol station. We had car for our stay which helped getting to beach and marina. Parking near the marina can be tricky in the evening. Pay & display not that expensive. This is a great location for golf too, Pinhal course on your doorstep and is a tight well maintained course. The beaches are great, but a long walk if you do not have transport. I think the road train goes to the beach and this quite cheap.

If you do have transport, pay a visit to Quateria, this is the original town next door to Vilamoura. Also trip to Loule market interesting and approx 15km. The water park next to Vila Sol was excellent, buy tickets from Golf shop in Vilamoura for 15% discount (Eu23 instead of Eu28). Overall a great location and all our party said they would stay here again.

Faro airport is a 25 minute drive with taxis available & car hire.

Due to ideal location for village, golf, marina & beach car hire is not essential for this property.
