These superior cottages dating back to the 18th century have been tastefully restored and beautifully furnished to provide you with an unforgettable holiday experience. Offering peace and tranquility they are located in the hamlet of Gransmoor on our family run working arable farm. This ideal location means visitors can enjoy easy access to the many coastal resorts from Hornsea up to Whitby with their Blue Flag beaches, as well as York, Beverley and of course the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors. The area has a variety of attractions including the famous RSPB sanctuary at Bempton, the North Yorkshire steam railway, numerous walking opportunities, museums, stately halls and of course we can recommend restaurants, theatres and many more activities in the area. This is an ideal choice for those wanting high standard accommodation in a tranquil setting but with the option to easily explore the varied and plentiful activities of the surrounding area.

Fourth Farm has been in the family for over 50 years and is still a family run working arable farm.

You are guaranteed a warm welcome and we personally greet all our guests and show them around the properties.

We live on site, close enough to be nearby should our guests have any questions but also far enough away so guests can enjoy the properties undisturbed.

We pride ourselves in keeping things to a very high standard, as well as clean and tidy, and feel that this is appreciated by our guests.

We are also pleased to welcome back many of our guests from the UK and abroad who return to stay with us year after year.

What makes this cottage unique

We aim to be the best! Our properties has been carefully renovated to offer luxury accommodation in a tranquil setting but close enough to the many and varied attractions in the nearby area.

Lovely peaceful base to explore East Yorkshire

A smart, comfortable and very peaceful place to stay within easy driving distance of sandy beaches and lots of places worth visiting. It has a lovely sun trap terrace with a barbecue too and I would recommend the steaks from the butcher in Bridlington's Old Town. Make sure you visit Burton Agnes and it's lovely walled garden.
