Despite changeable weather we have had a super time, made all the better by staying in Hideaway Cottage - fresh, comfortable, clean, warm and well equipped, it meant we were able to relax after our long walks, boating trips and riding. What a comfortable bed! A lovely garden to soak up the bit of sun we had and no mud to worry about. A perfect pad for a jaunt down to Cornwall for the two of us + "H" the well behaved dog. Thanks Murray and Debbie Quinney
A wonderful place to stay. Attention to detail. Thank you so much for being so welcoming.
Just wanted to say that we enjoyed our stay at the cottage last week and the village is lovely! We will definitely be back and have recommended it to our friends and family.

Very Nice Property To stay In
Hideaway cottage is an ideal property for a couple's visit to Cornwall. Clean and comfortable with all facilities required for your stay. Though we have been to this part of Cornwall many times, Emma Symes(proprietor) e mailed excellent directions to locate it. In the cottage we found information on the local area and other places to visit in Cornwall. we enjoyed our stay. Recommended
Cottage was very clean and comfortable but lacked a lot of essentials such as Baking trays, Aluminium Foil there was only 1 Dishwasher Tablet, 1 Toilet Roll, Half Full Pump Hand Soap and No Washing Powder.
When we have stayed in other properties in Cornwall and have never had to buy anything extra especially Toilet Rolls.
Lovely cottage down the tree lined road
We spent 7 nights at this nicely refurbished cottage with all mod cons needed for a confortable stay. The cottage was well maintained and clean. Emma was there when needed but unintrusive otherwise so we enjoyed full privacy. I would recommend this cottage and holiday destination for a true taste of Cornwall's unique character.
Just spent an idyllic week at Hideaway Cottage with my husband (and our dog Riley), and can't recommend highly enough. Very comfortable and well equipped cottage in the most lovely scenic setting, easy walking and driving distance of everything you need and places of interest. Owner (Emma) has really thought of everything for the comfort of her guests and was most helpful in suggesting places to visit etc.
Everyone in the village was friendly and helpful, the village pub (Lemon Arms) serve lovely meals.
You won't be disappointed if you chose this cottage.
Just spent a fantastic week at Hideaway Cottage and cannot rate it highly enough. First class well maintained accommodation, the owner certainly provides the welcome touch and is very friendly. Area is stunning and well placed near to Falmouth etc. Scenery is stunning, and area attractions easily within walking distance. You won't be disappointed if you chose this cottage. We will definitely be back.
A perfect holiday experience
Situated in the picturesque village of Mylor Bridge, we have just spent a perfect week at Hideaway Cottage and cannot recommend it highly enough. The cottage has all the home comforts you could require and is finished to a very high standard. The peaceful garden (complete with comfortable hammock!) was a lovely space in which to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then to relax after a hard day at the beach!
The surrounding area had everything we were looking for - scenic walks, lovely pubs (we particularly enjoyed a meal at The Pandora Inn, about a 15-20 minute stroll from the cottage) and beautiful beaches.
It was a peaceful and relaxing stay in a perfect setting.
We will certainly be recommending Hideaway Cottage and will definitely be back ourselves! A 5-star holiday experience.
