Villa in Seillans, Cote D'Azur, France - Fantastic Location Within Walking Distance To Village

Character villa with several layers on a ridge. Villa renovated a few years ago, wood parquet flooring upstairs, very high ceiling in the lounge, downstairs marble flooring, large windows and three French doors downstairs. Extra apartment wing of the house has a bedroom which we can utilise if we have more than 6 guests. The pool is 6x12m in size, large for a private pool. The house is surrounded with mature gardens. All the services in town are within walking distance: boulangerie, tabac, small supermarket, restaurants and a bar, pizzeria, art gallery, pharmacy etc.

We are a couple close to retirement age, but still have to work in the Middle East. Would much prefer to settle down in France or Spain...But in the meantime we try our best to provide nice holiday home for our guests.

The table tennis table was a great bonus and a key decider when we chose the villa. It was perfect having the kitchen and outdoor eating so close and as for the view - well you know how perfect it is.

We enjoyed our holiday there very much, yes the sunbed mattresses were useless but Villafix quickly replaced them with new good ones.....so no problem.

It was interesting on a couple of evenings when 2 Wild Boar (sanglier) decided to run though the garden, told the kids we are in the country here and that's what you can expect sometimes. (Family from the UK)

We have had a great holiday in Seillans. Lovely villa with fantastic facilities in a great location. The owner Eric was great in terms of communication and responded quickly to any pre holiday questions. Very good experience !

Relaxing holiday in a charming medieval village

The House is nice, cosy, and very well equipped with everything we needed. Washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, gas barbecue are all there and function well. Verandah where we spent most of our time has right size and a beautiful view. The pool was our primary deciding factor due to it's size, our kids loved it. There is a small garden with ping-pong table. Bakery is 10 min walk, closest grocery store is couple a km on the other side of the village. The owner is very responsive, flexible and easy to communicate with - thanks for that! No downsides really, only that there is no evening sun (remark for the ones who want to take max out of it, for us did not matter). The pool has kid alert device, which can not be switched off and is causing false alarms - You also hear those frequently from other houses in the area.

Overall - perfect vacation!!!

Owner's Response: We were happy to host this family, thank you for your visit! The pool alarm can be switched off if desired, the instructions are at the back of the house manual. We are obliged to have it on for your arrival, after that it is up to the guests to decide. Regarding the sun, very few villas have both sunrise and sunset visible, (in fact some of them do not have either!)..the morning sunrise is very beautiful on our balcony when having breakfast, enjoying the view over the valley. We hope to see you again in Seillans!

Serenity, stunning views, and a beautiful pool.

Three friends travelling together. We loved the location: A quiet retreat 10 minutes walk from Seillans village in the heart of Provence. It has lovely restaurants, bars, art galleries and a museum for Max Ernst. Eric meet us and showed us how the house worked. It was clean and well maintained. We had the groundsman as a contact if we needed anything. There are two bedrooms (1 room with twin beds) and a bathroom upstairs and a queen bedroom and ensuite downstairs. The kitchen, living room and terrace overlooked the hills and surrounding villages. We ate on the terrace at every meal we were there. There were many villages and markets to explore and we welcomed returning to spent time by the beautiful pool and watching the gliders cruise down the valley. Day trips to St Paul de Vence and St Tropez were highlights. Don't miss a visit to Terre Blanche Golf -Spa. There are a number of stairs to navigate which may be tricky for some. We all agreed that we would stay here again. Thank you Eric.

Nice Airport 50 min, Marseilles 1h 30 min. Bus service from Nice airport to Cannes, and from Cannes to Seillans in case you wish not to rent a car.
