This quiet masia has more than 10.000sq.m of private reserves, 40 minutes from Barcelona and 10 of the popular resort of Sitges.The villa is located within the municipality of Canyelles, in the region of 'El Garraf'. This area is in the southern part of Barcelona Province. Canyelles has a population of approximately 2,530. The main historical attractions of the village are the Castle and the Santa Magdalena Church.

Fantastic, well-equipped villa

We had a fantastic and relaxing week. Villa is rural but not isolated and only 10-15 mins from Sitges which is a lovely resort with plenty of great restaurants. Shops and other restaurants much closer in local village and town Vilanova which also had a great beach. Took train from local station to Barcelona for easy 45 min journey but spent most of time just relaxing in the garden by the pool or under the fabulous garden shelter. Tony was very welcoming and helpful. A great place to stay.

Location

From the Owner

This particular property was purchased in 2006, but have been living in the area since 2000. The property is both remote and secluded,surrounded by vineyards, but yet within in 15 mins you are on the beach or in Sitges and within 40 mins, you are in the centre of Barcelona. Nearby are the famous vineyards of the Penedes region, and the villa is ideally located for walks and rockclimbing. The village of Sitges is easily reached , and is famous for its night life especially in the summer months. The city of Vilanova i la Geltru is only 10 kms away, with beaches and waterfront seafood restaurants.

Coast/Beach:

Beaches of Vilanova i la Geltru are 7 kms drive away, while those of Sitges are approx 10 kms.

Travel:

Barcelona International Airport, El Prat, is a 30 min drive away. Reus airport is approx a 45 mins drive.

A car is essential due to the isolated nature of the villa.

Distances:

Barcelona city is a 40 mins drive. The typically Catalan village of Canyelles is a 1 km drive away. Town provides services such as pharmacy, banks, corner grocery shop, post office , coffe shop etc. Historically interesting church.

Further Details:

The house is centrally located to explore this rich and varied part of Spain, with its local vineyards just a short drive away.The surrounding towns all have there local ¨fiestas¨which typically occur throughout the summer months.

Booking Notes:

A deposit of 25% is required to secure the reservation, made through bank transfer. The balance payable in cash on arrival.
Cancellations made 60 days or less from arrival will forfeit the deposit.
Please note that as per the regulations in Catalunya, a tourist tax of EUR 0.45 per person/per night will be charged .(max. 7 nights) and collected on arrival. Children under 16 years excempt.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible. departure before 1100 and check-in not before 1600. All efforts will be made to accommodate if possible , outside of this schedule.
