A two bedroom Portuguese apartment, sleeping 4-5 is just beyond the city walls of Lagos, on the 3rd floor with views over the Bay of Lagos, towards the Meia Praia. The property comprises of 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, which can also accommodate an additional Z-bed. There is a shared full bathroom plus a separate WC. The apartment is located near Lagos town, close to the town beach 'Praia de Batata' which is a pleasant and easy stroll of 10 minutes. The historic town of Lagos is reached by foot 10 mins where you have many restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. Close to the apartment are a variety of local restaurants and snack bars with their 'dish of the day' all very reasonably priced. Walking further through the town, along the picturesque Avenida, you can also reach the Marina de Lagos in 20 mins – very cosmopolitan, again with a variety of restaurants, bistro and coffee shops. Adjacent car parking to the apartment.

Notes on accommodation: there two sets of golf clubs available in my lock on the roof. also there two bodyboards and various other to mention after 20years of collection Outside: As well as a balcony from the lounge, the property also has a roof terrace which is available for sunbathing and laundry. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linens and towels with the exception of beach towels are provided and will be changed for a 2 week holiday. A Beautiful stay in Sunny Lagos

A very spacious apartment with stunning views over Lagos and Meia Praia Beach. We had a very comfortable and relaxing 14 night stay in Davids apartment it was lovely, even the three flights of stairs became easier over the holiday. Both really really enjoyed our stay. Lagos Holiday

Fabulous view and facilities

The apartment is located near a number of very good restaurants and not far from all local amenities. I spent a month there and found the owner and housekeeper extremely obliging. It is not suitable for anyone disabled as there is no lift

Everything needed for a good holiday is available from pots and pans to beach umbrellas, I was even offered the loan of some golf clubs

Would have given 5 stars with a lift. In addition to the balconies at front and back I had access to a huge open area on the flat roof for sunbathing

Very good value for money, clean & spacious

Brilliant communication with David before our trip & he gave me all the information needed to get straight to the apartment. Bela met us & handed the keys over promptly to us after explaining a little about the apartment. The apartment is very spacious & gave us plenty of room. There was everything we needed with regards to utensils and cooking facilities. The balconies at the rear of the apartment are lovely sun traps & the view is great.

Upon arrival there was even a bottle of beer & wine in the fridge & soft drinks for the kids, which after a long drive down from Lisbon was brilliant! If you drive, parking outside is sporadic and first come first served, but I managed fine. The nearest Supermarche is less than 5 minutes drive or 15 min walk, so no problem. It's easy to walk into town, where there is everything you need to eat & drink out. The beach is about 15 min walk as well, so not awful & even the walk to Ponta de Piedade only takes around 25 min & it's well worth it!

The only niggles are that its on the 3rd floor, so not that easy to carry case up the stairs & there is no lift; however all was managed. Also, it can be noisy early in the morning as its a residential area with lots of traffic noise & from the bin lorries especially.

Apart from that though, very good value for money, clean & spacious, lovely owner to deal with & thanks very much. Hope to come back again.

A great place to stay

My partner & I stayed in the apartment for 1 week at the beginning of June . It was spacious, comfortable & clean & perfectly situated for walking into Lagos. The beautiful beaches are all within walking reach & we did a wonderful walk along the cliffs to the viewpoint & further on to Praia de Luz, taking a bus back. Lagos is a lovely town with lots of bars, cafes & restaurants to hang out in & the fish market is brilliant. We made use of David's barbeque on the balcony. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the rooftop bar above the market to catch the evening sunshine & enjoy the view of the harbour & out to sea.

Thanks to David for providing us with lots of information about the area & ensuring we had what we needed. I would recommend the apartment & the area for a holiday.

A Thoroughly Relaxing Week In Lagos

My fiancée and I spent a lovely week at this spacious, clean and well-placed apartment, which offers splendid views of the beach from the balcony dining table. The apartment is comfortable and has all amenities we required, plus more: the washing machine and clothes line care in very handy indeed! With the town just a short stroll away, we were able to enjoy all Lagos has to offer with ease, with no need for taxis home. We'll certainly return to stay at this apartment in the future!
