This is a lovely 1 bedroom apartment in Dobrota, which is situated on the Bay of Kotor, just 5kms from the World Heritage Site of Kotor. It has fantastic views over the bay and surrounding mountains directly from the lounge and from the terrace. It has air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom contains one double-bed. The lounge has a double sofa-bed. There is also a blow-up mattress, and a cot, so 4 adults can easily be accomodated. The bathroom contains a wash-basin, shower and a full-sized washing machine.

The terrace faces the sea and a table and chairs are provided.

There is allocated parking, and a shared swimming pool which is kept in excellent condition by the managing agents. Fresh bread is available every day from the local bakery, and there are three food shops within ten minutes walk for other provisions.

A lovely stay

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Kotor. The representative who met us from the airport was very helpful. The apartment was clean, spacious and had the best views of anywhere we have ever stayed. The location was ideal as we were able to explore Kotor bay and mountains, many surrounding towns and also ventured to Dubrovnik croatia as it is only 1.5hrs away by car. Overall a fantastic holiday.

Excellent apartment in a lovely location

The apartment was perfect for the two of us. It is well equipped, bright and modern with the most stunning view across the bay. Our daughter joined us for a while and she slept on the sofa bed which she said was very comfortable. The apartment is well maintained and clean with good air conditioning which was vital as there was a bit of a heatwave. The pool is lovely and you can generally get a sun bed by the pool with no trouble. The management company looked after us really well and were very helpful during the stay booking taxis for us and generally giving good advice about places to eat and visit. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment. The location is also stunningly beautiful with lots of great restaurants serving the fresh fish.

Séjour à dobrota kotor

Très bel appartement donnant une vue superbe sur les bouches de Kotor.

L'espace est suffisant pour 3 ,mais le lit de la chambre n'est pas très confortable.

La piscine est parfaite avec vue sur les bouches.

L'appartement est propre ,il manque quelques équipements pour la cuisine.

Bon rapport qualité prix

Je conseille pour les personnes souhaitant visiter Kotor et ses environs.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Tivat at 12 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Forza Mare at 250 Metres Nearest Restaurant : Babilon at 200 Metres Nearest Beach : at 250 Metres Car: recommended


The Kotor Bay fjord is a just a few minutes walk.


Tivat is the nearest airport, about 12kms away, and takes about 20 minutes in a car or taxi. This is served by Montenegro Airlines, and from June 2016, by Easyjet (from London Gatwick and Manchester).

Another option is to fly into Dubrovnik (Croatia), 65kms away, which takes about 1h30 to drive. Flights to Dubrovnik from the UK are provided by BA, and Easyjet.

A third option is to fly to Podgorica airport. This is 95kms away and takes about 1h45 to drive.This is served by Ryanair and Montenegro Airlines.

Car hire is recommended, but taxis are plentiful and can be easily arranged for all airport transfers.

Dubrovnik airport 65kms

Podgorica airport 90kms

Further Details:

There are 2 bar/restaurants within 2 or 3 minutes walk from the apartment, the Babilon, and the Forza Mare. They are both excellent.

There is a local bakery and 2 small supermarkets 5 or 6 minutes away. Kotor has banks, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Larger supermarkets and shops can also be found on the way to Tivat.

Changeover Day: Changeover day is flexible. However, Sunday changeovers or checkins/checkouts on any day, after 8pm or before 7am, will incur an additional charge of 25 euros. This charge is payable directly to the agents. Guests are requested to check-in no earlier than 4pm and to check-out no later than 11am, to permit cleaning to take place before the next guests arrive.

Tourist tax is payable, in Euros, from June to September inclusive (80 Euro cents per night for adults, 50 Euro cents per night for children). This should be paid to the agent on your arrival.

A security deposit of 150 Euros is required and must be paid in cash to the agent on your arrival. This will be repaid on your departure, less any sums deducted in case of damage incurred.
