Built in 2000, this beautifully furnished 2-bedroom ground floor apartment with panoramic valley views from the terrace in fantastic family location of Valmorel. Ski back to your door with access to the main ski lift a short walk past the sledging area. The Grand Domain ski area consists of 3600 hectares of ski area around Valmorel. Direct access to over 150km of piste made up of 46 ski lifts, 85 slopes, 315 snow cannons and a snow zone equipped with a boarder cross, slope styles and free ride zone. Valmorel is an authentic French resort with stone and wood cladded buildings. There are four snow sport learning areas, a real paradise for ski trekking and off-piste fan, a breathtaking variety of countryside ranging from pine trees to high mountain. This beautiful pedestrianised village consists of shops, restaurants and all village amenities and is only 2 minutes walk from the apartment. An excellent resort for families.

It's a family owned apartment, Andy, Simone and Charlotte (13). We bought the apartment in 2012 as we love to ski and Valmorel is a very friendly village and great for families as the village is pedestrianised.

Just a short note to say what a great holiday we had when staying at your apartment.

For anyone thinking of bringing a family to Valmorel then I couldn't advise them of a better place to stay. We know we've been extremely fortunate with the weather and plentiful snow but still the view of the sunlit mountains in the morning is a pleasure to wake up to.

The apt is superb and all the furniture and equipment first class - you couldn't wish for anything. The kitchen is so easy and well appointed we've cooked in every night but one. We really appreciated how well you've kitted the place out .For the kids having the sledge slope round the back is perfect and they've been out every night when we get back

Valmorel is an excellent family destination for learners or the more adventurous and I will recommend your place every time.

We're planning our return.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is located on the ground floor, so no stairs and no lifts. It has under floor heating and in addition has electric heaters in the bedrooms, bathrooms and living area. The apartment is situated 5 minutes from the main pedestrianised village making it very safe and child friendly with no roads to cross to reach the shops, slopes, ski-lifts or ski school. There is a ski locker directly next to the apartment avoiding the necessity to bring ski equipment into the apartment. Ample underground parking is available in the resort together with some outdoor parking areas. Underground parking is payable in the resort and cost approximately 65 euros per week. Outside: Private terrace area with amazing views down the valley. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning is included in the price when staying for more than 4 nights. Bed Linen, towels and tea towels are included in stays of a week or more. For short stays of less than a week, linen can be arranged at an additional cost. Other: A ski locker is available to use and is located directly beneath the apartment. Underground parking is also available with direct lift access to the apartment block. Fantastic apartment and great location

A lovely apartment, well furnished and in a fantastic position just a few minutes from the main ski lift and skiing right back to the door. The kids loved it as it is situated right by the toboggan slope. Owners really helpful and quick to respond so we're definitely coming back next year.

Great apartment in a great location within the village.

We had a wonderful week in Valmorel and were delighted that all our last minute bookings including this accommodation worked out well. Kids loved the closeness to the sledging area whilst it was also nice to be able to ski back to the door avoiding any post skiing trudging or travelling. The apartment, although not that big, was suitable for our family of five with adequate levels of storage space and well equipped kitchen area. The pedestrian street with shops and restaurants was also close.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was geat and outlook was fab. The bedrooms were very cosy with litle room for cases, but having 2 bathrooms was a real bonus. Thanks guys it suited our pupose of attending a wedding what a great place for that. Cheers

The appartement was veel cosy, so you feel at home immediately!

Located very central. You have to walk a little bitto the ski lifts, but you can ski back till the front door of the apartment! Parking garage was very welcome, because it snowed a lot. Owners very friendly and they reply very quick our messages. And last but not least our children loved the dvd's!

Excellent family skiing holiday

This was our first trip to Valmorel, having skied the previous 6 years in Les Carroz. We thought it was time for a change and were extremely glad that we picked Valmorel, and especially this apartment. Valmorel has lots of lovely blue and red runs, well groomed and plenty of them. It was especially good over at the other side of the Grand Domaine towards St Francois - being a little higher the spring snow didn't suffer quite so much in the afternoons!

The apartment is extremely close to the slopes (about 150m - all uphill, but it gets it over with at the start of the day!) and it was lovely to be able to ski to within 5m of the door of the ski locker room at the end of the day. It has a lovely terrace with a view down the mountain, and the sledging run is directly outside too. The apartment is very well equipped - we self-catered most of the time eating out twice and, again, the pedestrian main street was only a 5 minute stroll away with plenty of choice. There were 2 small supermarkets which had everything that was needed, as well as a bakery and a butcher/deli. It was great to have an apartment with both a bath for a soak at the end of the day, and a separate shower room, and 2 toilets. A large supply of family DVDs and games was also great. There was no shortage of mountain restaurants for coffees/lunch/vin chaud, but what was also great was the large spread of picnic tables at the top of runs. We were so lucky to have a sunny week (with 1 exception) that we were able to picnic in the sun most days.

All in all a fabulous week which more than exceeded expectations. Thank you Andy for a great service and we certainly hope to return.

(PS - the Pierre et Vacances office next door will order fresh bread each morning to save the walk to the village - a real bonus!)

Travel by Eurostar to Moutiers directly from London or Ashford and then 25 minutes by taxi/hire car to the resort. Fly to Lyon or Geneva airport which are approximately 2 hours from the resort. Alternatively drive all the way.


Approximately 100 metres from the beautiful pedestrianised village with shops, restaurants, ski hire and all other village amenities.

There are lots of other activities available in Valmorel including, tobogganing, snow shoe walks, heliskiing, snowmobiles and many more.
