Apartment in Corralejo, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands - Tranquil, Surreal Location, Just 15 Minute Stroll to Town's Beaches, Harbour and Seafood Restaurants

Listening to the breeze rustling the palm trees in the beautiful and tranquil sub tropical gardens makes evenings sitting around the table on the balcony, sharing a nice bottle of wine with friends or family so relaxing and peaceful.

A 15 minute casual stroll will take you to the old town with its quaint shops and cafes, the harbour with its seafood restaurants, which we highly recommend, or the town's beautiful beaches where you will find the sand sculptors show off their talents. 2km away is the Parque Natural Reserve with its sand dunes and awesome 7km beach. There you will see the skills and thrills of the kite boarders and wind surfers. Everything you need is within walking distance so a car is not essential unless you wish to go playing golf, or visit the many beautiful locations on the island.

We were both born and bred on Anglesey, North Wales, married and now live in a tiny coastal village on the North Wales penninsula. We are fortunate to live in an area of outstanding natural beauty with views to die for.

We both work long hours, Ann works seven days a week, so appreciates a few days off whenever possible, normally over the Christmas period.

We have just come back from a two week stay at this lovely apartment, this is the second visit and it was just as perfect this time as it was the last. We shall definately be booking for 2013 as my 12 year old son won't go anywhere else. The apartment itself has everything you need for a self catering holiday and more, including the washing machine which is a God send, and was very, very clean on arrival.The complex is set in beautiful gardens and is two minutes away from the shops and bars etc. but when you relax around the pool you would think you are in the middle of nowhere, it is so peaceful. Ron and Ann the owners of the apartment are second to none, they are so helpful and friendly, our flight was delayed by 90 minutes on the outward journey, I called Ron to tell him and he arranged a welcome pack for us so we could have a well deserved cuppa on our arrival!! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this apartment to anybody, its fantastic!!

Fantastic Apartment

We have recently returned from a 2 week stay in this fantastic apartment, we have been visiting the island for 12 years and for the last 4 have stayed in this apartment, it's perfect!!

The apartment has everything you need for a happy holiday, it's always immaculate on arrival, it's spacious and bright, it has a full sized fridge freezer, washing machine, iron/ironingboard, cooking facilities and enough pots, pans and cooking utensils to rustle up a meal.

The large comfy bedroom has ample wardrobe space, the bathroom is a good size and always lovely and clean.

From the sunny balcony you have a view of the beautiful gardens and the pool area and even though you are just a few hundred yards away from the shops, restaurants & bars it is so peaceful.

The final note has to go to the owners Ron & Anne, they really are the best, so helpful and nothing is too much trouble, they always make us welcome and have become good friends over the years. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone, and we will be back next year!! Thanks Ron & Anne

Great Short Break

We booked this apartment for a short break prior to the Christmas period. We had a great time, the apartment is very spacious and clean. The location is also perfect, very close to the main street with its shops, bars, and restaurants (whilst still being quiet).

Very decent sized bedrooms, bathroom, and living room. Balcony complete with BBQ would be great in the warmer months.

The kitchen was well equipped, with a Fridge Freezer capable of holding enough for a family.

We will definitely be using this apartment again (assuming its availability!)

What a fantastic holiday us and our 2 children have just had. The Apartment had everything we needed and more. The pool area was perfect, some days we had it to ourselves! The location of Oasis Royal is why we booked and we were not disappointed. It was right at the top of Corralejo's main road, which provided us with easy access to all the wonderful restaurants, pubs and family friendly entertainment that helped make our holiday. However it was just far enough away to enjoy a quiet one if thats what your looking for.

Ron and Ann are fantastic owners and communication with them was brilliant, always happy to answer any questions. Hopefully we can keep in touch.

Oasis Royal

The owner was really helpful he dealt with our initial enquiry promptly and efficiently and even adjusted dates to fit our flights. The first floor Apartment was clean and tidy, well fitted has south facing balcony for outside dining and even a safe for valuables. Oasis Royal is an excellent complex with well maintained gardens, 3 swimming pools plus kiddies pool. It is only few yards from the Main Street with amazing selection on shops, bars and restaurants. Corralejo was recommended by a relative, it was a good choice and we shall return! It was our first visit to Fuerteventura and it was helpful to have property manager arrange Airport transport.

From the Owner

Corralejo's pace of life is unhurried and the climate wonderful and only thirty minutes or so by car from the airport. On our third visit we decided to find a piece of heaven for ourselves and succeeded when out of the blue our apartment came on the market. It was on the very complex we wished for, the 'Oasis Royal', we could not believe our luck. We were smitten by its serene and somewhat surreal surroundings with its beautiful tropical garden. Four small pools are dotted around the complex including a children’s one. We also like the fact there are no facilities within the complex such as a bar or restaurant, so it does not feel commercialised just a wonderful place to chill by the pool during the day or on the balcony in the warm evenings.

10-15 minute leisurely stroll to nearest beach. 3km to the Parque Natural de Corralejo with its sand dunes and approximately 7km of beach.


Distance to the airport is 41km a travelling time of between 30-45 minutes by car.

The Ferry Port to Lanzarote is 2km away a 25 minute walk.

Daily ferries by Fred Olsen Line; Corralejo - Playa Blanca Lanzarote 20 minutes. The line has a free bus service to and from Pto. Carmen

ARMAS Line Corralejo - Playa Blanca, Lanzarote 25 minutes.

From the Owner

The location is central to almost everything you can wish for. You can walk out of the Oasis Royal straight on to the high street and all its wonderful shopping, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and banks. Amenities such as pool bars and a poolside restaurant are available for use next door at the Oasis Dunas. The Baku Water Park, open from mid April to end of October, is directly over the road from the Oasis Royal We highly recommend a casual stroll down to the harbour and sample the local cuisine, it's a fantastic experience you will want to repeat time and time again. We love our little slice of heaven; we would love you to share it with us.

Linen and towels changed weekly; additional chargeable changes can be arranged by request (contact owners for details). Cot and high chair can be hired at 15 euros weekly (payable locally). We would like to extend you a warm welcome to our apartment. We respectfully request you refrain from smoking in the apartment however we do provide ashtrays for use on the balcony. Outside: Our first floor apartment, accessible from the lower car park, has a South, South-West facing balcony which has the benefit of almost all day sunshine and overlooks one of the 3 shared adult swimming pools and the shallow children's pool. The pools have sun-loungers for guest use. The complex has well maintained beautiful sub tropical gardens with pathways leading close to the main street at the lower end of the complex and at the upper exit you will be adjacent to the Oasis Dunas Hotel and opposite the Baku Water Park. The balcony has two sun-lounger in addition to patio furniture consisting of a table and four chairs. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towel changes weekly, mid stay change can be arranged for an additional charge. Other: South - South West facing Balcony with table, 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers
