Traditional Villa - Peaceful Location, Moraira Town Centre And Beach Is Only 3.5km

Casa Clarita is located just 3km from the traditional Spanish town of Teulada and the resort town of Moraira. It is a short drive to the beach and town centre. The holiday home is within 20 minutes of the motorway, so whatever your tastes, be it golf, watersports, hiking, visiting inland villages or lively coastal resorts with golden sands, there is something for you. To the north are the towns of Javea, Oliva and Valencia or to the south, Benissa, Calpe and Benidorm. This rustic villa is an absolute delight, retaining all its original features including beams, solid shutters and doorways. The stunning garden has a pool with traditional Mediterranean flora, open and covered terraces, even a small orchard, where you can pick your own fruit.

About Jane Colebrook

I live in England and have been coming to this area of the Costa Blanca for over forty years, before settling here at 'Casa Clarita' near Moraira. My family are all living in the UK and I live with my four year old Cocker Spaniel who occupies most of my time! I work part time and try to visit my house as much as I can so as to enjoy time in the beautiful and private surroundings, it makes a big change from the City of London! It is pleasure for me to let my home to those looking for a quiet and memorable stay in a real home with its familiarity and everyday comforts.

Why Jane Colebrook chose Teulada

I have known the area for many years and having moved from a house in Denia a few miles up the coast, I set out to find a property near Moraira but with paramount requirements. It needed to be a property with an interior that retained the character of an old Spanish finca upon which to build, a sense of seclusion about the location, yet a locality that would allow for an ease of access to the outside world. I was very fortunate to find a 200-year-old house and the initial work involved stripping back the main interior before renovating the three bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Much of the garden has been redesigned and landscaped. It has taken several years but I am happy with the end result. The interior has a very homely feel about it and retains a distinctly Spanish style.

What makes this farmhouse unique

'Casa Clarita' is situated in the local vineyards and is not overlooked by another house. It is approached by a private small road. The property offers a very secluded and private atmosphere but the towns of Moraira and Teulada and all their amenities are only five minutes drive away as is the beach of Moraira. If you are looking for peace and quiet, there is nowhere better!

My friends and I had a lovely stay at your villa, it was so welcoming and the views were stunning. I have lots of photographs to remember it by. Moraira is such a lovely place too, so welcoming and we couldn't help but notice that most of the locals spoke 3/4 languages.

Outside: The outside has a covered dining area for al fresco dining and there is a lovely covered terrace were you could sit and relax and while away the hours. There is a private swimming pool approx. 10m x 5m, Depth 1m - 2m. There are Sun loungers, chairs and BBQ. Utility Room: Fridge/freezer, washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen are provided and a weekly changeover of linen will take place for those of you who stay two weeks or longer. The property will be fully cleaned prior to each rental.

Beautiful autentic house on a beautiful location

House and location are beautiful. The pool is great and lots of terraces to either enjoy the sun or shade.Very close to Moraira, the beach, shops and other nice locations to visit.

It does need airconditioning as it is too hot to sleep without. Close to animal hotel so you can hear dogs during the day and night.

Beautiful farm house, perfect for getting away from it all!

We had a lovely time at Casa Clarita. It was peaceful and beautiful with heaps of charm.

We enjoyed the clear blue skies and the warmth of the July sun whilst either sunbathing on the terrace, swimming in the lovely pool or sitting in the shaded areas. The warm breeze kept us comfortable in the heat. We loved watching the birds and wildlife and at dusk were entertained by the bats swooping overhead.

The location was perfect. We felt away from it all but a short drive took us to the local shops and a little further and we were at the beach and restaurants, it was no bother.

There is a lot to do in Moraira and there should be something for everyone. If you contact us in advance we can make arrangements for any special interests or activities for on you. For example golf, horse-riding, scuba diving (P.A.D.I.), tennis, dancing, Spanish lessons and lots more.


3.5km from beach and town centre which is approx. 2 minutes by car.


Approx. 1 hour drive from Alicante airport and 1.5 hours from Valencia airport.


The villa is only 3 km from the the town centre of Moraira and the beach. There is a large supermarket nearby and Benidorm theme parks are approx 40 mins by car: Terra Mittica (theme park) - Mundo Mar (sea world) Terra Natura (zoo). a and Moraira.

Further Details:

In peak season there is: horse riding, water sports (scuba diving-jet ski hire- fishing), Go-Karting, cycle hire, tennis courts, mini golf and lots more to do. Benidorm has its own Terra Mitica (theme park), Mundo Mar (sea world) and Terra Natura (zoo) you can take a train from Teulada -within 10 minutes drive). Trains travel along the coast to Benidorm or north to Denia (check the internet as there are lots to do for everyone). Or you can take in the nightlife and amenities in Moraira, there are many cocktail bars, pubs and clubs. An abundance of international cuisine restaurants, including Italian, Greek, Indian, Spanish, Belgian, German, Chinese, Japanese, English and fresh fish restaurants to tempt your palette, plus great fast food take away paellas, pizzas, fish and chips or barbecue chicken and the ever popular modern supermarkets. Market day is on a Friday, not to be missed! you will find an array of local organic fruit, veg, meats, cheeses, handbags, paintings and lots more.
