Val D'En March is a beautiful quiet area less than one and a half miles away from Pollensa Town. In a rural setting surrounded by the Tramuntana mountain range. This is a true beauty spot. Only a short 20 minute walk via a track to Pollensa Old Town which is one of Mallorca’s popular tourist spots but is still unspoilt. The old town dates back to the 18th Century. Pollensa plays a leading role in the island’s cultural life. From the earliest years of the 20th century Pollensa became a favourite place for painters visiting the island. There is lots of history within this village, lots of cultural attractions, museums, places to visit. For beaches you have Cala San Vicente with three bays to choose from, then there is the Port of Pollensa with its long sandy beaches with all water sports available. There are new dedicated cycle tracks for the more energetic. Val De March has a long history for walkers making the pilgrimage to the Lluch monastery through the most wonderful mountain scenery.

About Emma

We live in England with our three Children, we brought this lovely finca a few years ago as a ruin, we have restored the house to its original form with all the modern day facilities.

We love the area here it is peaceful yet you are a short walk from the village with shops and restaurants, just a short drive to the beach, lot's of activities,Great area for walks and cycling.

Why Emma chose Pollença District

Nice and quite away from main roads safe for the kids a beautiful location and an Original Finca, which we a renovated to an very high standard keeping many original features, great area for walks close to the village of Pollenca. We have now fully completed the full rebuild of the property this year.

What makes this villa unique

Within walking distance via a footpath to the village of Pollenca, great for cycling to the beach, private swimming pool, table tennis fantastic views of the surrounding area.

Hello Sebastian!

We arrived home last evening after delays to all flights out of Palma due to storms. We had experienced very hot fine and entirely sunny weather for the whole of our holiday up to Friday evening, when the weather broke. Once again we enjoyed a splendid holiday at your lovely finca, which I am happy to tell you was left very clean and tidy. We took all the cushions in from the terrace and pool areas in anticipation of the rain. We left six new tumblers as replacement in part for two broken ones and one which was cracked. The front door key was placed in the key safe, and the gate fob was left on the hall table for Carmen to find. We also left the barbecue cleaned.

Thank you Seb once again for generously allowing us to hire your finca. In the seventeen successive years during which we have holidayed in Majorca we have been fortunate to occupy some very nice villas/fincas, but we rate yours as the loveliest and best for us all as a family group.

There is just one matter which I feel embarrassed about. I had intended to leave a gratuity for Carmen as on previous occasions, but forgot to do so when leaving. My wife and I take the view that we should show some token of appreciation to Carmen for her services, and we would have left her the equivalent of £20 from the two of us (say 30 euros at the current rate of exchange of 1euro 40cents from Fairfax.

Can you suggest some way in which we could make known our regret at forgetting and make the payment to her?

If you should decide to allow the hire of the finca next year, I should be obliged to you to let us know so as to give us the opportunity again.

Notes on accommodation: Outside there a very nice outside dining area with a BBQ, perfect for those long lazy lunches or Al fresco evening dining. The outside has a lovely evening ambience with stylish external lighting. The gardens are very well stocked and maintained, the pool is a very decent 10m x 4m and there are plenty of sun loungers provided for guests. Inside the property there is WiFi broadband internet access and there is are two TV's with free to air UK TV. The villa benefits from full reverse cycle air-conditioning. Outside: The grounds of the property in total is 7500 sq metres. The private swimming pool is 10m x 4.5m. Depths of the pool are from 0.90 to 1.7m, patio, new 2013 BBQ area, there are trees and flowers and a large lawn area. Table tennins. Utility Room: Washer, dryer,sink and storage area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Maid service provided at open and close. Service during the week is available upon request. All towels and linens are provided and are new.Free Internet Other: Dining for 8 people with fireplace, lovely covered outside terrace with seating for dining outside and BBQ. A Cot's and High Chair can be provided on request

Special interest holidays:

Pollensa: Pollensa is one of the most sought after holiday places in the North of the island. With the Tramuntana Mountain range all along the north coast. It is truly a beautiful area to be in. The villa overlooks the mountain range, it is very popular with walkers, hikers and cyclists, the scent of the wild herbs an away from it all experience. There are lots of walking routes and cycling routes with sign posts to help you on your way. There are some great beaches to visit the nearest being Cala San Vicente with its bays or to the Port of Pollensa where there are water sports available. The centre of Pollensa holds a market once a week on a Sunday with people visiting from all over the island the market makes its way through the windy little streets. The plaza is very popular and has some great bars and restaurants, ideal if you have a family as the children tend to congregate and play on the plaza so it doesn't matter which bar / restaurant you are in you can keep you eye on them.


The Beach at Porto Pollensa is about a 10 minute drive as is Cala San Vicente, a small charming bay with great restaurants and enormous Mediterranean charm.
