Each apartment has two twin bedded rooms, and a travel cot available, if required. All the beds have quality mattresses, ensuring a comfortable nights sleep, with seasonal duvets for added luxury. Two bathrooms per apartment, with bath/shower and heated towel rails. Fully equipped kitchens with ovens, hobs, microwaves, fridge/freezers, dishwashers and washing machines. There is plenty to keep you entertained with golf, sailing, fishing, boat cruises, guided walks, safari’s and horse-riding.

- Booking Notes:
A 20% non refundable deposit to secure booking and remainder due 6 weeks prior to arrival. €150 refundable security/damage deposit required at time of booking. Any costs to specially clean, repair or replace items caused by damage that is beyond what we consider normal wear and tear will be deducted from the security deposit. Lost keys will need to be replaced and cost deducted from security deposit. Two sets of keys are supplied for your convenience.
The apartment will be available from 3pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Any reasonable variations on these timings where other booking commitments allow will be accommodated.

Activity and Interests
Special interest holidays:
Walking tours, wine tasting, bike rides, paragliding, traditional basket weaving courses, pottery making. There is an endless list of things to do here in Lagos town. There is a cultural centre which holds free live jazz nights and special cultural evenings from tasty chorizo (Portuguese sausage) nights to art exhibitions.
The closest beach is Batata (potatoes!) beach at the Avenue here you will find a historical fort with drawbridge and next to it is Batata beach and the old Portuguese sailing school where youngsters (and grown ups) can try out dinghy sailing, canoeing or a refreshing swim with a snorkel. The beach at Meia Praia is across the foot bridge into the marina, a 4km white sandy stretch of beach perfect for flying kites, wake-boarding or join a game of volleyball.
Faro airport 50 minute drive. Car hire/transfer available from airport. Information available on request. Lagos train station is next to the marina here you can catch a train to Faro for less than 6eur or perhaps a trip to Silves with it's Cafe Ingles on Sunday afternoon, relax in the shade under a palm tree and listen to the wonderful jazz. A short walk down the main Avenue to the bus station there is a great farmers market every Saturday with hens, rabbits and local fare for sale.
Lagos is one of the last towns before Cape st. Vincent where the discoveries set sail to discover the America's. There are plenty of wonderful, stunning secret hideaway beach coves as you travel west. Take the road to Sagres (30mins drive), turn off at Raposeira to Ingrina beach. All info and directions are provided by our local representative. Head inland to Monchique 25 mins drive to taste the local Portuguese sausage and medronho.
Casinha do Petisco - A great Portuguese Restaurant offering traditional dishes at great prices and always delicious. It is small and very popular with the locals as well as any visitors who are lucky enough to come across it. Try their fried prawns, lamb chops, beef stroganoff. The stroganoff dish is plenty for two comes with chips, rice and salad. You will definitely return to this restaurant. The easiest way is to find the Wild Irish Rover Pub and the restaurant is next to it on Rua da Oliveira (Next to Whyte's Bar) get there early to avoid disappointment.
Adega da Marina - A favourite. It's a converted warehouse and seats hundreds of people, huge portions of charcoal-grilled meat and fish and very affordable jugs of house wine. this restaurant is easy to find on the Avenida dos Descobrimentos.
A Forja - Affectionately referred to as the Blue Door. This is an extremely popular restaurant with locals and visitors alike. When it comes to value for money this place is hard to beat. There is an excellent fresh fish menu along with traditional dishes and look out for those large portions and homemade fries! It is a very clean and bright restaurant popular with large parties, families and couples alike. The staff are friendly and polite, do ask them about the specials of the day. Be prepared to go early or have to queue for a table in high season, it is well worth the wait it's on Rua Ferreiros.
For Pizza try Italia - this stylish restaurant with impeccably dressed waiters add to the feel of a special night out. Do take time to study the starter menu whether it is just for the covert or a platter from their buffet bar with an assortment of salads and cold fish, delicious. They have an extensive pasta, pizza and risotto menu. There is an outside seated area looking onto Rua Garrett right between the two main squares. Amouras bar stays open until 4am and for food Adega da Marina's kitchen continues on into the wee hours 2am! No need to go hungry.

Please bring your own beach towels as they are not provided. Outside: There is ample outdoor parking, shops, hairdressers, restaurants, pizzerias, fitness centres, parks. The city park is on the doorstep with lots of green space and trees. There is a skater park and fantastic kids play area with swings and lots more.
